That game's graphics are amazing; seemingly photo-realistic.

Is this game part of the Soul Reaver series?,In wich console are you playing it? its there a PC version of it?

I think the first Soul Reaver was fucking amazing but the ending was really disappointing, i liked the second game but they really fucked it up with its lack of boss fights.

And i agree about the storyline, its one of the best aspects of the game.

It brings together the stories of Raziel and Kain and you play as both during the game and yeah, its a continuation on everything, I actually just beat it about an hour ago, there is still yet more room for a sequel. Im playing it on PS2, Im not sure if there is a PC version or not.

Final Fantasy X.

Good game so far ... but not better than VII.

X can be a real bitch if you don't know how to properly use the sphere grid.

I think the game was really good, in terms of story and character developement the game was brilliant, the gameplay its almost identical to previous installments the only improvement is that now you can switch characters and weapons in battle, and the sphere grid wasnt that hard to understand (although erasing and replacing spheres for maximum level was a pain in the ass), the graphics like in any FF are nothing but great and the music was enjoyable (although IMO the best music for an ending has to be the one from VIII, i swear i almost cried:mellow:), i just found three major flaws in the game:

1) It was too damn easy.
2) The voice acting was one of the worst things ive ever heard, especially tidus, what a fucking deuche bag.
3) Getting tidus to upgrade his ultimate weapon its so fucking frustrating its not even funny.

I think that the FF series definitely needs to get back to the job system or at least came up with characters with different abilities and stats each, like you get one to be a mage (predetermined or by choice) one to be a warrior one to be a healer, etc. Otherwise i dont really see the point of having six or more different characters, given that you can only use three at the same time and theyre all just practically the same.

It'd be awesome if you could use all your characters in a battle, but I guess that'd have to be more like FF: Tactics.

Oh yeah, the license grid-system in FFXII allowed you to choose which school of magic or weapon a character would use, personally I didn't like it. I maxed out the license grid way too early and I didn't really care about which type of armor I used, whether my character was mainly a caster or mainly a fighter. Not that I had any characters that were mainly casters, it just didn't seem to be worth it, that's why I'd prefer predetermined classes.

Doom 3 graphics= ahead of their time
Doom 3 gameplay=1992

And one more thing... Where are the huge hordes of monsters coming at you? The most you go against are like packs of 4-5..
Overall a disappointment..

you see thats why i like it, beef up the creep factor and then keep what made the game good in the first place

i beat Soul Reaver 2 on pc, brilliant... Was doing Defiance too, but the pc broke down. And Raziel is infinitely cooler than Kain.

Europa Universalis III

does anyone besides me play this? if you're into history and you don't need guns or freaky aliens in every videogame, this could be very interesting.

Fun game! Playing with your own cast of superheroes is awesome...especially with Ironman.

Agreed. Personally I think Episode One was even better than Half-life 2, the only problem was that it was short. I mean, Episode One was such a thrill ride, there was stuff happening all the time, you got thrown into exciting situations one after the other.

Episode 2 looks very exciting as well. The only flaw in episode one was that it was a liiiitle to close to what we'd already seen in the main game.

Yeah, I guess you're right about that, Episode Two looks completely different however, in terms of environment. Oh yeah, the game Portal is included when you buy EP2, really awesome looking game also.

Yeah, it looks really cool. It uses the same portal concept that the game Prey did, however in Portal you can lay out these portals by yourself. The trailer looks amazing, the physics of the game are really impressive, although I don't think there's much killing involved in the game :P
