I took the US, wiped out India, and was ahead of everyone by like 5000 points.

I finished the game (played for like 3 hours straight last night =\. Rome got a ridiculously strong military that I just sicced on anyone who pissed me off, although that only happened about twice. Then there was no fighting for pretty much the rest of the game until 3 of my enemies decided to declare war on me with 20 turns to go and crushed like 4 of my cities and totally fucked over my score . Rome came to help me but basically all that did was improve their score so they won in the end

Icewind Dale.

I tried playing Icewind Dale 2 but it was just way too full of glitches, the game kept crashing for no apparent reason, and even though the recommended computer for the game is like 1GHz, 128mb RAM or whatever it still runs really poorly on my 2GHz, 512mb RAM computer.

Anyway, Icewind Dale is better than the second game in every way, it's more like the Baldurs Gate games and less like the Neverwinter Nights games.

Damn, now I'm in the mood to play Civ. Me and Alexander will destroy all the ass backward fuck civilizations. Except for Rome. I'm cool with Rome.

i have to get Civ4 one of these days, does it play on an almost 3 year old laptop?

I just played some half life 2 i bought today cause i finally have the machine to actually play it with good settings... And i must say! Damn!!
The physics of the game are pretty much real, and the game is super fun!

I just bought the Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Collection box set deal for only 29.99 and it includes the first 3 games and the 3rd as the special edition with a ton of bonus crap. Amazing deal.

Also Legaia 2: Dual Saga, loved the first Legaia game from back in 1998 and have been looking for this one for about 3 years now so I couldnt pass that up.

Kingdom Hearts 2

Amazing game, I definitely prefer it over KHI. The only bad things are smaller worlds (though they are better planned and more focused) and the fact that if you hadn't played KH:Chain of Memories you were somewhat lost in the beginning.

The fighting just kicks so much ass ( Final Form ftw!!!), there is no way you can describe the acrobatics and cool moves you have after you've beaten the game. Now I got to start working on my 100% completition to get the secret movie .

Super Smash Bros. for the N64.

SSB is great but SSBM on the GameCube is even cooler. i used to pwn with Fox McCloud but now i'm pretty slow, i haven't played it in ages.

anyways, am i the only one who gets the impression that there is only one really good game on the Wii, Zelda? i'm a huge nintendo fan but at this rate i think i'm going to get an Xbox 360...

At the time, yes, I would say Zelda seems to be the only good game for Wii. Red Steel seems also pretty cool but that's about it. I'm going to wait maybe for autumn or maybe winter before starting to even consider buying any of the next-gen consoles.

I think you are quite right. However, Wii Sports is also incredibly fun, as is Rayman Rabid Rabbits, even if they aren't incredible games. Call of Duty 3 is also kind of worth picking up, because of the gun controls (which are much better than Red Steel)- but it doesn't have multiplayer at all, which sucks. I'm waiting until the rush of great games (Metroid Prime 3, Smash Bros., Mario Galaxies, No More Heroes, etc..) come out before getting mine. By that time, hopefully it'll be easier to find one in store, in any case.

Red Steel is crap, tried it out. Haven't tried CoD3, but all in all the Wii doesn't seem worth it.

Yet. Give it some time. The X Box 360 didn't get into its groove until a few months ago, and PS3.... All systems need time to get some games out.

The PS3 isn't even out here yet, so I wouldn't know. But anyway, there's some assassin game that seems fun, and any sport game should be fun. That should be enough to keep the PS3 high out of the gate.

You'd think so, but as a result of their horrible PR, artifically shortening supply, high prices, etc... The PS3 hasn't been doing anywhere near as well as the Wii or even the 360 this holiday season. Plus a lot of Europe seems pretty pissed at the PS3, since its even more expensive and Europe and since now they've just said that there'll be very little backwards compatability for the PS3.

I think you mean Assassin's Creed, and that game looks awesome. It's also coming out for the 360.
