It's a completely different game though. GW is not exactly a MMORPG eventhough it contains a lot such elements and can be confused as such. Actually I'd say that GW is a hybrid between MMORPG and an online RPG, standing somewhere on the broderline of those 2 genres. But in any case, people say GW is good. If you like its style then I suppose it would be a really cool game to play.

Now as for WoW, you should consider 2 things. First, the monthly fee is not really that much. It's as much as two beers at a bar or an average dinner (1-person) or slightly more than a cinema ticket. For one month of computer gaming that's not really a tragic expense. Secondly, I've never heard of anybody who actually played WoW more than 1 month and didn't play for several hours per week or days per month. It IS a very addictive game because of its structure, style and interface. So even if you think that you intend to play only for 2 days per month you will end up playing for much much more.

Finally there's another option, albeit a slightly illegal one. You can play on free private WoW servers (as I'm doing at the moment). You should not do this if you have a working account because you might get banned but if you don't then that's your cheapest option. You download the whole game, then download the appropriate patches for the specific server then you create an account (free) on that server and play. Ofcourse, the support is not up to par with the official support and there are numerous bugs in those private servers but it's a free service and you can't require more than that.

I have played Doom 3 and F.E.A.R. and I didn't get scared. I don't spook easily seeing as how I was addicted to horror movies at the age of 7.

Last night I played:
Burnout Revenge for the X-Box. Awesome game.

SSX On Tour for the PS2. What other anowboarding game has Dio, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, and Motorhead in the soundtrack? None.

Very intuative and fun. The career mode is interesting so far, you get the choice between skis and boards. There is a 2 player mode(split screen) and a 4 player mode(hot seat).

The controls are extremly well done and doing flips spins and whatever moves you want is much easier than with a standard control in older versions.

This is my 5th Wii title so far and none have decieved me so far.
I own
NFS - Carbon
Red Steel
Zelda - Twighlight Princess
Trauma Center - Second Operation

I"m eagerly awaiting
the release of Fire Emblem and Tiger Wood 2007 as well as Medal of honor Vanguard which is told to have the best controls for a shooter thus far.

I've played the first one. Probably the scariest game I've played  Though the controls were a bit dodgy

Yeah, it scares the shit out of me. And the untimely rumble doesn't help.

So I played WoW for the first time. Got my guy up to level 5, with some help of higher level players... :P I was hooked, I am now going to get a much better computer and in May I get a better internet connection. So in May, here comes a new WoW player. :)

The only thing is, I wont be able to use my already created player because he was created on my friends account. Is there a way I can get my created guy off of my friend?

No, but it doesn't matter much at Level 5. You can just make another guy and get him up to level 5 in like an hour or less. I made a character on my brother's account and got him up level 23, so it kind of sucked when I got my own account...I stopped playing once I got my own account, for some reason.

But yeah, I heard somewhere that WoW is more addictive than smoking. If people want to bash the dorkiness of it, then whatever, but it annoys me when people say it's not a good game because anyone who's actually played it gets addicted...
