the atmosphere at the stadium was amazing!

Benfica tied 1-1. we played a terrible first half and Porto scored, but we completely dominated the second half, we tied through an own-goal from Lucho González, and had 2-3 more great chances but sadly we didn't score.

there was also police in full riot gear confronting supporters from both clubs, because they were generally being a bunch of drunk assholes. is it too much to ask fans to behave like people?

also, i just saw the match highlights on tv, and there was a section where those red and white cards spelled "Benfica", but i didn't take any pics because they were right under me :/

That's some really awesome pics, Az. By the way, how much would a match ticket cost there? It costs about 15 bucks here but the turnout is very poor. Malaysian soccer is suffering a huge setback because of the lack of support and fundings. The people here rather watch European football on TV rather than travel to matches to watch their team play.

tickets cost 15€ for big games for associates (who pay a monthly fee, with Benfica that gets them cheaper tickets, priority to buy them and a bunch of discounts with associated stores); 25€ or more for non-associates for a game like this.

stadiums are usually half full or even less, it depends on how the team is doing or who's visiting. it's not like in England where the stadium is always full.
