Nevermore - The Sound Of Silence
Fantomas - Rosemary's baby

The Sound Of Silence is my favourite cover track, its brilliant. Rosemary's Baby is my favourite track of 'The Director's Cut', I love its creepy atmosphere.

I didn't know The Sound of Silence was a cover, but it is awesome! I don't know if I can call it my favorite cover, though, since I've never heard the original song.

The original is pretty awesome as well. Simon & Garfunkal!! :dio:

Nevermore have some pretty crazy - in the good sense - covers. Check out their version of Love Bites (after Priest). And speaking of Priest covers, I think Blind Guardian's cover of Beyond The Realm Of Death is even better than the original.

Better then the orignal??
That is on the of their best songs and it's hard for me to imagine that another band plays this better. I will try to find it on the web this evening.

Metalium plays a cover on every album, I heard they did a good job on The Show Must Go On from Queen.

Dragonland - When the rain begins to fall
Cover of the 80's hit from Jermaine Jackson, cool tune.

Heavenly has a version of this on their latest album, Virus. Haven't heard the Dragonland one yet but I'll doubt its as good as Heavenly's version.
