I saw Blades oF Glory on Sunday afternoon. I was a little suspect after Taladega Nights, which I thought sucked, but Blades was really funny. I think t is one of those movies that might get funnier on re-watch. And, even though he is only in a few scenes, Nick Swardson really shines as the "wierd crazy guy" that he seems to play in every movie.

I'm halfway through Tideland - Strange Terry Gilliam movie about a girl ,with a heroin addicted grandpa, who immerses herself in a fantasy world for entertainment. It kind of reminds me of Big Fish, but a lot darker (her grandpa dies of a heroin overdose). Pretty good though.

I finished it. What a weird, weird movie. Fairly well done though. Just strange.

Eragon - Utter, utter shite. Not even Jeremy Irons, Robert Carlisyl (never could spell his name right), and a cameo by Joss Stone could save it.

I have so far avoided seeing it, thank Odin.

What a surprise! One of the worst books of all time becomes one of the worst movies of all time!

Small Time Crooks - Not Woody's best, although Tracey Ullman's always watchable.

Jackass 2 - Not as good as the first.

And I started Weekend At Bernie's but it was crap, so I stopped.

Infernal Affairs

Leee was right, this was a pretty good movie. You could definately tell the Departed was based off of it, but on its own, it's a totally different movie.

Alright, it got kinda cheesy every now and then, but it was still a good movie.

I saw it recently too. I actually thought it was bad compared to The Departed. It was still a good movie, and I know its the original. The Departed was just done so well.

I saw "The Pursuit of Happyness" yesterday. What a boring movie. I mean it makes you feel good and all, but it is just boring. 6/10.

I also saw "The Curse of the Golden Flower" Holy shit what an awesome movie that was. Completely off the wall, plus the chicks are friggin haawwwt!

a 2 and a half hour Samurai movie called "when the last sword is drawn"... not bad. But the last part could have been way way shorter. 10 minutes of crybaby sentimental monologue with a dying samurai (" I- speeak-- sloowly.. i looove u son... i looove you my daughter ... i looove you my wife.. bla bla bla" and he's even all alone) followed by yet another 15 minutes of crybaby sentimental shit with his son (who wants to go to war too), daughter and friend in the end really ruined the flow. Too fucking long... also, it's confusing at times, since it's a story told in backflashed.. and well, since it's japanese or chinese movie they all look the same :D and their names are hard to remember. " hey?! now she's cheating on him" .. later... " hmm.. i guess not"

[7/10]

also

Universal Soldier

always somewhat a pleasure.. but always pure nostalgy.

Not that I'm not a fan of horse semen, but I just felt the first was funnier overall. Perhaps Dirty Sanchez blinded me to the merits of II. Plus, no Henry Rollins.

Children of Men. What an incredible and depressing film. This and Pan's Labrynth were robbed at the Oscars.
