I think I agree with the review.I obviously recognize the names behind the band, and the technicality is there, but something is keeping me from loving it.I do enjoy it,but maybe its the production?

It is very muddy, which kindof blurrs the technicality to an almost inaudible wall of noise, rather than becoming a new crshing force to be wreckoned with in the metal scene.I mean I love some bands and albums that have "dirty" productions such as this, but my favs will always be albums that present their sound in a clear uninterupted manner.Which is funny because fans of the muddy style claim that the sounds I prefer are "enhanced",but in the end its all still far too bRuT00l for the average joe to get into./Rant.

Decent score for a good debut.I'd maybe give it a 65-70,as I do enjoy the slower moments that dot a few songs, kinda giving some atmosphere.

The samples on their myspace sounded like something worth checking out, I'm not sure if I'd enjoy a full album of it (although maybe, if its only 20 minutes long)

Not much variety (even in 20 minutes) but excellent musicianship.
Since for me musicianship is more important than anything, i give it a 70.
