Oh damn.

the season finale of ER was intense.
though the finale was crazier last season.

I doubt anyone watches ER.
I've been a disciple of the show since I was 9. That's crazy.

Speaking of medical dramas, House was awesome last night. House decked Chase. He crossed the fuckin' line man!. Here in Britain we see it after you Yanks, so don't tell em what happens.

House is the Pokemon of medical dramas.

It starts out and someone has something wrong with them. So they try to figure out what.

When they think they have it, the circumstances change in a flash and the patient's condition goes down the drain.

Drat! He's dying! My God! What do we do?!

The medical posse is befuddled. But House has the right diagnosis. But no one believes him! Bastards!

Cue House being a jerk in the coolest way possible.

Then they do it House's way, or House does it his own way without the approval of everyone else.

5 seconds before the patient dies, House fixes everything and everything's all hunky-dory again!

Or, y'know the patient would die, just like Ash would lose a battle and/or not catch a pokemon.

Still, I like House.

I used to watch House weekly because Hugh Laurie is amazing. But as you mentioned, the writing on the show is way too predictable and the premise got old.

I saw three episodes of House and had enough. Its amusing enough, but I hate set formulas in shows (Patient comes in with crazy medical disease, House acts like a dick, everyone's offended, House's first treatment fails, House gets yelled at, House acts like a dick, House succesfully treats the disease). I'm just waiting for the episode where he ends up killing 10 patients through his dicktitude and gets fired.

That being said, I barely watch any network drama shows.. Only HBO, which knows how to handle it. I did however watch the season finale of Smallville last night- usually, the season finales/premieres/two other episodes in the season of that show cut out on all the drama filler and actually involve Clark Kent using his powers for something. Alas, it was a piece of shit.

It is very predictable, but I don't take House too seriously. Notice that they test for syphillis at every possible opportunity.

Was it 10 days? I was away the whole time. It was only a day or so before he resufaced last time. This time he threw a major-league hissy-fit at the mods, for delting his thread, then that thread got deleted and he changed his avatar and left.

I hope the old Ken comes back. Not the opinionated, angsty chap we had to deal with for three weeks. Come back man, we're worried about you.

He's writing reviews for another website now. I'd assume he's spreading his gospel of love all over their forum now.

Ha, I completely missed all that.

And indeed, if Ken went back to his old posting habits, I would like him back. But if he's just going to stir shit up, then there's no point in him making an alt account every week.
