Yesterday my mother passed away, in her own home, in presence of her family after seven long years struggling with cancer. She was 55 years old. This will obviously be my last post for a while. I wish everyone the best with their lives and a great summer.

I'm so sorry. It's a horrid thing to happen. My Grandma just died yesterday, but I didn't care about her at all - if my mom died, however, I don't know what I'd do with myself. You have my deepest sympathy.

Sorry to hear that man. I'm going through a similar thing with my grandad but we're not as close as we used to be, I really couldn't imagine losing a parent. My condolences

I'm really sorry to hear that, and you have my condolences also. Like some others have said, I can't really imagine losing one of my parents even though I know it will happen someday.
