Saw the late night showing of The Simpsons Movie. It was grand. A lot better than the past couple of seasons' episodes and worth the $9.

The first 20 minutes mocks Christianity a lot, then mocks the fence building between the (Mexico - USA) borders and finally mocks Bush's decision making skills with Spiderpig mixed in throughout.

Man I haven't been this excited about going to the cinema for ages. Too bad it will probably be full of idiot children.

tell me about it! when i saw it there was this stupid girl that just kept repeating the jokes out loud, like homer sang something and she'd sing a line or two, or someone would, say, crash a car and she'd say "oh my god he crashed a car!". seriously, it was like she was talking on the phone with someone, describing the movie as it went on.

One day I'm going to kill somebody in a cinema. Probably will be someone eating pop corn out of a plastic bag.

I've had worse. During Hotel Rwanda, every time something bad happened (ie, every five seconds) this old woman would yell "OH NO!" or "WATCH OUT!"

Someone brought an infant to the 11:45 pm showing of Transformers when I went to go see it.

Please tell me this happens in other countries as well. Please...?

Half-Nelson: A nice twist on the "teacher goes to ghetto school and saves the kids' crappy lives" type movie... 'cause one of the kids stops the teacher from being a druggy... and stuff.

Deja-Vu

it was ok, got a little cheesy in the middle but it picked back up towards the end.

Ok Transformers climbed down my throat and raped my inner child. What big stupid clusterfuck of annoying shit.

Die Hard 40 was pretty good. :)

The Reckoning. Damn good movie, takes place in the 14th century. I can't remember the younger guy's name, but William Dafoe was in it. 8/10.

I had a similar experience watching The Descent. There was the middle-aged couple a few seats to the right of us in a pretty quiet cinema, and she kept advising the characaters what to do or making 'witty' quips just below conversation level to either her husband or no one in particular. I made a big show of standing up and going to sit on the other side of my the two people I was with to get further away from her...that's how tough I am.

Dead Silence... Just your run-of-the-mill horror-movie, wasn't really that great... Luckily, the ending salvaged some of it.

why bring six year olds to a pg-13 movie like the simpsons if they are going to scream about how they want to leave?

Why go to see the simpsons if you will not hear it because you are thunderously laughing at everything, even that which is not funny.

Actually the Simpsons passed with little audience trouble. It was a cool film and I did enjoy it, but at the same time it often just reminded me of how awesome older Simpsons was.

I saw Beerfest for the second time and it got me thinking. This is a movie based in Germany about getting drunk. Why is there no Tankard?
