Kickass album... the only thing that annoys me with it (apart from the fact that is impossible to find) is that it overshadows the rest of Moonblood's discography, but that's not the album's fault I guess... Remember, there's more great stuff by this band, not just this album!

I totally agree.

Blut und Krieg is excellent but Moonblood has other stuff worth checking out. Stuff like Rehearsal 2 (The Evil Rules), Rehearsal 5 ( Under a Cold Fullmoon) and Rehearsal 4.
Of course production is even harsher than Blut und Krieg but that makes the music sound even better!

Great review!
Do review more Moonblood or maybe some Nachtfalke please.

Its sinister appearance is only equaled by that of its sound, a pure and spectacular black metal classic!

Agreed... But why isn't this a classic and got only 80??? I mean look even Nattefrost got a higher quote than Moonblood... The review is great, but imo, this is a Masterpiece and isn't fitting the 80 quote...

I agree Desolate, but mainly the problem is that maybe I overquoted the Nattefrost album a bit and Misha underquoted this one a bit so......

Don't blame me, I enjoyed that Natteforst album a lot at the moment, and I still enjoy it, although not as much.....

Read the review rather than the score, and know that to your reference, I may underquote everything.

I don't blame you, I enjoy Blood & Vomit a lot too (it's just the first review that I thought of), but think: a guy who wants to get into BM checks our BM reviews and sees that Blut und Krieg got only 80 and e.g Vreid's Kraft got more than 90... What album will he get first?
And why don't you put your quote next to Misha's?

I know and, damn, this was just your I opinion and your quote and I respect it, but your opinion often differs from mine (you don't like TH very much too and I love it; you gave Noenum 100 and I would give them only 85), so that's why I suggest we should put two-three quotes...
And the guy maybe doesn't have time to read the whole review...

And one more thing: Moonblood did influence a lot of bands, especially with Blut und Krieg.

You should have Users and reviewers scores...so If people don't check the forums.

Make like a poll or something and then it calculates it, and then you have at least 2 scores to go by..

True, our opinions differ, that's why you should read the review and see if the style matches your personal tastes. I wouldn't stick too much of trust into a readers quote, for the opinion of some is far more valuable than that of others to me. Ow and about Moonblood influencing a lot of bands, name me 10 that sound allike, and even if you can, I meant influencive compared to the influence that Burzum and Darkthrone had.

The review is great, Misha, it sounds like a review of a classic, I really enjoyed it, but in the end you have just 80...

Well, if a band was influenced by another it doesn't mean it should copy it's style, it means it inspired people to make music.
Yes, Moonblood weren't second Burzum nor Darkthrone, but they were ground-breakers at some point. Even Kanwulf made a cover of The Gates of Eternity on BMiK.

I never claimed they are influenced by darkthrone and burzum, I just said they sound like a blend of them. and if a band has been very influencive, they should at least have some copycats or bands where there is a distinguishable moonblood influence. There probably are some, but not as much as on the earlier mentioned burzum and darkthrone.

Gast by saying Moonblood weren't the seconde Burzum nor Darkthrone, I meant they didn't have that much influence on the scene as those two bands, not that they sound like Burzum or Darkthrone. It's indeed like a blend of them with something from Moonblood itself...
