Pre-Ordered NHL 2K8 yesterday. Can't wait. As soon as that comes out, it means real hockey is only a month away. I wonder if NHL 08 will be any good, maybe I will rent it to see...

I have a question about The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

One of my favorite parts of Ocarina Of Time (heck, it probably was my favorite part overall) was looking for those secret holes throughout Hyrule (either automatically or with the Stone Of Agony), jumping into them, and finding some cool treasures or restoring my health (not to mention hearing what's, even to this day, some of the weirdest/spookiest music ever in a video game). Ditto to Majora's Mask.

It took a fairly long time, but I've finally discovered (through exploration) that The Wind Waker also has those hidden holes throughout its islands (with similarly spooky music, but considerably more complex treasure rooms). So I'm wondering: does the Tingle Tuner work like the Stone Of Agony did? In other words, can I use it to find hidden holes like in OOT/MM? Also, since I no longer have my Game Boy Advance, can I plug my Nintendo DS into my GBA Link Cable?

My new laptop has arrived, huzzah. Currently playing Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, Company of Heroes and Dungeon Siege 2: Broken World. It's a fucking beast, I maxed out all graphics in Company of Heroes and I'm still getting 55+ fps.

Resident Evil for the Gamecube. It's the most pants-crapping game I've ever played.

Well, after wanting to do this for a while and finally being talked into it, I bought the GTA Double Pack for the X-Box on Half.com. It should be coming in sometime next week. I'll probably start playing it once I finish Halo.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like it should happen, but damn. This is one spooky game.

Resi 4 was kinda spooky, but the last time i got scared playing a game would have to be Condemned...have you guys tried it? It's an incredibly scary game about hunting a serial killer...available on Xbox 360 and PC.

Now playing Guitar Hero II

Oh man I am hooked on this! Still trying to 5-star every song on expert. I recently broke my whammy bar so I had to buy a whole new guitar.

I'm stuck on Hangar 18. Those solos are killing me. Only gotten 4-stars so far but I won't stop until I get 5-stars :mad:

Anyone here passed Jordan on expert ?

I play on hard, but I've 5-starred Jordan. By the way, One and Raining Blood are both going to be on GH III

Yeah, can't wait for it. There's actually 70+ songs on GHIII including Dragonforce. Anyone who 5-stars Dragonforce on expert is a real guitar hero.

According to Neversoft, about 100 people will be able to pass the Dragonforce song on expert. Industry hyperbole perhaps.

Haha, I just beat Hangar 18 on Expert the other day. Don't think I've ever gotten 4 stars, though...I can barely beat it.

And yes, Dragonforce will be absolutely insane. Here's an actual preview of the song from GHIII:

I always thought that intro part was all keyboard...I dunno.

Thank god it's a bonus song. That is just impossible. I don't even wanna think about what the solos are gonna be like.

They actually have ZP singing it?

Has there been any other songs on GH with the real singer?

if it isn't, then it sounds a hell of alot like ZP.

It''s a master track which means it's the original song you hear on the album. There's actually quite a lot master tracks on GH III.

Here are the tracks that are already announced:

Bold=master

No bold=cover

* "3's and 7's" – Queens of the Stone Age
* "Barracuda" – Heart
* "Black Magic Woman" – Santana
* "Cherub Rock" – Smashing Pumpkins
* "Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll" – Blue Öyster Cult
* "Cult of Personality" – Living Colour
* "Even Flow" – Pearl Jam
* "Go That Far" – Bret Michaels Band

* "Knights of Cydonia" – Muse
* "La Grange" – ZZ Top
* "Lay Down" – Priestess
* "The Metal" – Tenacious D
* "Miss Murder" – AFI

* "Mississippi Queen" – Mountain
* "My Name Is Jonas" – Weezer
* "The Number of the Beast" – Iron Maiden
* "One" – Metallica
* "Paint It, Black" – The Rolling Stones

* "Paranoid" – Black Sabbath
* "Raining Blood" – Slayer
* "Reptilia" – The Strokes

* "Rock and Roll All Nite" – Kiss
* "Rock You Like a Hurricane" – Scorpions
* "Sabotage" – Beastie Boys

* "School's Out" – Alice Cooper
* "She Bangs the Drums" – The Stone Roses
* "She Builds Quick Machines" – Velvet Revolver
* "Slow Ride" – Foghat
* "Suck My Kiss" – Red Hot Chili Peppers
* "Talk Dirty to Me" - Poison
* "Through the Fire and Flames" – DragonForce
* "Welcome to the Jungle" – Guns N' Roses
* "When You Were Young" – The Killers

There will be over 70 songs, (over half of them master recordings) on the final soundtrack for the game.

I haven't heard about that. Hope they put some Sonata Arctica or similar to us finns. Now that would be great :P
