Colony always seemed like a mix of the best parts of The Jester Race and Clayman to me.

I was actually waiting for this album to finally be reviewed. :)

Anyway, this, Clayman and The Jester Race are such great albums I can't even decide which one is my favorite. But this one does probably have my all-time favorite In Flames song (the title track).

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Now In Flames' entire discography has been reviewed on this site. :dio:

Forever In Flames willa lways be my favorite metal band...And this is the album that got me into them...Sure i heard Whoracle and TJR first, This was the album that just made me love this band..

Colony > Clayman :dio:

Scorn is so badass, im listening now, brings back so many memories....Come Clarity is a good return to form but i want an even bigger return next time around....The only alubm that sucks is soundtrack.

Yeah this is a good'n. It still falls short of TJR, Whoracle, Lunar Strain, and Subterranean. Anyway, good to see the In Flames disco covered, how about the remaining Maiden now.

Always found this one to be a bit overrated, along with Whoracle- don't get me wrong, they're both good albums, but masterpiece is a bit much, methinks.

Well, this is the only In Flames CD that I own. It looks like I made the right choice. I love this CD.

Yes! This is my 3rd favourite by them after Whoracle and The Jester Race.
Embody The Invisible, Colony, Zombie Inc., and Resin are my favourites.

i still dont think it reaches up to clayman...clayman is the album that got me into a rougher metal-style..so maybe its because of that..but it still rocks

same, although i've always liked Whoracle more than Jester Race, but its probably because I heard Whoracle first :\

This album is pretty good, unfortunately In Flames on most of their albums tends to put some pretty unmemorable songs....they're still good, but unmemorable. Jester Race and Lunar Strain are my favorite.

Great review. Along with Whoracle, this is my favourite IF album.
