Reign Over Me - Adam Sandler's like Jim Carrey in that a good 91% of the time he's an annoying twat, but you get that really, really, good film every so often where they fit the character perfectly, and this was one of them. Although, thinking about it, only me and NESS will probably like it in the end...

The Lives of Others - A great German flick about a writer and his girlfriend who is put under surveillance by the Stasi. All the characters pulled me in really well.

Hot Fuzz: pretty funny but not as much as I had expected. 7/10

Wild Hogs: predictable but funny non the less. 6/10

Fracture: really good thriller, thoughtful and suspenseful. 8.5/10

Really enjoyed this one. Ryan Gosling is becoming a really good actor.

"Underclassman". pretty shitty, only the gorgeous Rosalyn Sanchez and a murder victim (warren williams, played by one 1 who looked a bit like noodles kept it from being completely crap. - http://imdb.com/title/tt0373416/

Simpsons movie- As someone who hasn't watched the past four seasons or so, this was a seismic shock. It honestly felt like I was watching something completely different. Reasonably entertaining, though they saved the best line for the end credits.

Amazing Grace - It was quite good, actually. Very interesting too. Not what I expected at all. 8/10

Superbad

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It kind of spoiled it, though, that my friend was a fucking baby and wouldn't see any other movie so we had to go to three different theaters before we got in.

Yes, a really good film. Apparently there is a hollywood remake planned, unfortunately.

that's kind of funny because I mentioned it was good to my friend and he asked if it had subitles, then said he'd wait for the hollywood remake when i said it did. I thought an english remake wouldn't make sense because tis based in East Germany

i just got that one wrong...

The Deer Hunter - pretty good movie about how the Vietnam war affects 3 friends in a small town. It was a little long, especially the introduction, and the climax was intense (but sorta cheesy)...

saw Evan Almighty on friday, and i have to say i was very disappointed. it wasn't completely shit thanks to Carell and Morgan Freeman, but there was 0 lolling, and the fact that all the "funny" bits came from that black chick just helped ruin it even more.

what did you guys think?

War: Ok movie but Jet Li and Jason Statham should have more hand to hand combat scenes, that was the point of going to see the movie in the first place and it lacked kick ass martial art scenes.
