I posted this before but I'll post it again.

I play hockey games pretty religiously, and lately I've been having my way with NHL 2K8. I get to game number 32 of the regualr season on my Franchise and it freezes. It's total bullshit. No matter what I do it freezes. If I play the game and win or lose it freezes, if I simulate it and i win or lose it freezes. I look on the back of the disc and there is no visible scrathces or marks, and I know it's not my system because every other game works fine (Halo 3, BioShcok, etc...) I don't know what to do.
How long ago and where exactly did you purchase it?

Finally finished Resident Evil after 2 years of owning it lol.
Now I'll either move on to Eternal Darkness or Baten Kaitos: Origins

Today, I planned to do all my readings for this week and learn a chapter in my latin class to get ahead.

Well, instead I've been re-playing Metroid Prime for Gamecube. Good times.

really? i'm not even done with the first time. i'm stuck in this bit where you
go into a dark room with metroids and stuff, and then there's a massive pit with huge mushroom-ish things which you are supposed to cross (in the dark) and where if you step on the shiny stuff on the floor you get damaged, i can't find a way to cross it and the dark doesn't help at all.

also, the space pirate music is fucking creepy (yes, i'm a pussy and i've never played a survival horror game).

Is it near the end of the game? If it is, the shiny stuff is Phazon, and you need a different suit to get through.

And yes, those games can be creepy. Particularly when metroids are around.

i don't even know how far i am, but i know that just outside the spawn point there are 3 or 4 of them ice pirates waiting, and some of those big-ass modified pirates in tanks in the adjacent rooms.

where do i get this suit? is it the phazon suit?

You get the Phazon suit after you beat the Omega Pirate. You're almost there, but the Omega Pirate's a beast.

Yes he is. Alternatively, you may still need to get the X-Ray visor first; if you do, you'll have to head back to Tallon Overworld, to the Life Grove.

I got rid of Perfect Dark back in I believe January, and now I actually regret it. So I bought a new copy on Half.com.

I didn't get very far in it the first time around, anyway. So I don't have to make up too much for this.

BTW, is the full version of Perfect Dark Zero good? I've played the demo, and it's pretty solid.

12/10, but i did a similar test (with paintings from established artists and people with some sort of brain problem [and sometimes both]) before and failed miserably.

Question: Do I need to have played the original Silent Hill in order to enjoy Silent Hill 2?

No. Silent Hill 1 and 3 have linked stories, 2 and 4 are standalone, but 4 has a few mentions of some things from 2, like a certain character.
