The cinema where I live did that once. And it did last about 12 hours, possibly more with interludes and stuff.

It was extremely epic :dio: The movies seemed even better when watched like that. Though I dont think I will watch them again for at least 2/3 years.

Yeah they did that here to about a year ago but I missed it because of work. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much though. At home I got to be as comfortable as I wanted with endless snacks and sometimes be noisy/talk/make jokes about whats happening in the movie. Its hard to stay silent for 12 hours straight.

We Own the Night, not too bad. Gonna watch Pan's Labyrinth tonight, I have high hopes for that one.

The Cat's Meow - love triangle murder thingy on a boat... could have been really good but a lot of the supporting characters were cliche and pointless.

Mad City - great movie about a guy who accidentally holds up a museum trying to get his job back. John Travolta gives probably the best performance I've seen from him. Both him and Dustin Hoffman do great portraying characters that you know are doing bad things, but that you can sympathize with anyways.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie for Theaters- it was funny, but it did really reach to fill up 87 minutes. That damn Cyber-Turkey cracks me up every single time though.

I also picked up a DVD Double Feature thing that had Jackie Chan's "New Police Story" and Jet Li's "Black Mask" in it. Good times, New Police Story is just as good as the old ones, and Black Mask is good cheesy fun.

Die noodles. DIE. Great movie. It shows how a lowlife scum continues being a lowlife scum even with money.

Agreed. One of the best movies of the 80s.

As of late, I've been watching a show called Journeyman that stars Kevin McKidd, probably known better around these parts as Lucius Vorenus. What started off as a good and interesting show has transformed into an absofuckingloutely fantastic one (episode 8 aired tonight)- it seriously just gets better and better with each episode as more and more of the plot is pulled together and the characters develop. Its an intelligent take on time travel, less concerned with the mechanics (though attention is paid to that) than to how it affects the traveler and his family back in the present. Download all the episodes, or buy them off NBC or however you do these things, and start watching every monday at 10:00, Eastern Standard Time.

That sounds like a great show, have you ever watched the movie Primer?

Primer is good.

I just watched Rescue Dawn last night; amazing! It's so bloody genuine and well performed.

Haven't seen it, but I've heard a lot about it. I plan to rent it at some point, probably during Christmas break.

I saw Knocked Up last night. I thought it was funny.

You are like Babe Ruth's gay brother, Gaybe Ruth.

And speaking of good tv shows, watch Dexter. It is awesome. It's about a blood splatter expert who as a child watched his mother die. As he grew up he had these fantasies to hurt things and people so his adoptive father tells him to hurt only those who deserve it. So since he is a blood splatter expert, he works with detectives and he goes out and kills the people the are trying to catch. CAUTION TINY SPOILERS, now in the 2nd season the police have found all the bodies of people he has killed and he's getting into some trouble.

Saw and Saw 2. First was good, interestsing story and whatnot. Though i didn't like the characters too much.
2 was awsome in my opinion. I loved the scenario and everything, even if it wasn't all that original. Many people warned me of the needle pit, but i didn't find it very gruesome/disturbing/gross/horrific :lame:

Probably the best film of last year.

I finally got around to see Mystic River. And now I hate Sean Penn.
