I think that's the most important factor that makes the earlier seasons better. Most of my favourite episodes are about them doing some childish stuff and getting stuck in some crazy shit. Yeah, I know. They're probably my favourites though. I think South Park just got better and better with time, season 8 was amazing and then suddenly it all went to hell with season 9. The early seasons are classic, but they had some really shitty episodes too, like The Succubus, or Damien. It's nowhere near as bad as season 10 though.

I have no idea what you're talking about since evey season south park has progressivley gotten better.

You guys like seasons 9,10 and 11? I thought everyone hated them, lol. Anyway, it seems to me that they're putting to much work into coming up with some crazy storyline, usually the storylines are pretty funny but they seem to forget about adding the jokes into them. Which is pretty funny because they made that double episode whining about how the creators of Family Guy only have jokes that have nothing to do with the storyline. Well, atleast they have jokes.

theres lots of jokes in newer south park episodes...

I think its amazing that the show still has the same energy and funniness as when it was first started.

i though season 10 is quite good too. I have never laught as much as when i saw the silly animated Jesus shit all over Bush and the american flag (in context that is meant to be of course). Okay, i laughed more when Kenny's father pukes and shits in a garbage can in the NAMBLA episode. The Bounty hunter was funny too, cuz i hate that sonnuva beach... and the warcraft episode

anywho... bought Season 5 the other day on DVD with two of my favourite episode on it: The one with Cartman getting his own themepark and the one where Cartman makes an older boy from 9th grade eat his own parents as a part of Cartman's revenge. Fucking funny and far fetched :lol:

I haven't seen that many episodes from the new series. But "Cartman Sucks" was quite funny as far as i remember :lol:

Last night's episode was fantastic. Much better than last year's disappointing "rushed to fulfill a contract" season closer Stanley's Cup.

Seriously, I think South Park is at its best when it shows the kids just being kids. Rather than trying to get into all these movie parodies, which you often don't get unless you've actually seen the movies being parodied, and celebrity potshots (sorry, but I found More Crap to be just plain stupid - and not "so stupid it's funny" either).
