ENGLAND OUT OF EURO 2008!

Croatia played fucking great! They deserved it all the way.

Well Scotland's efforts ended in brave defeat as fucking usual. But at least we are now second in the seedings for the World Cup qualifying, so we won't get two teams of the quality of Italy and France in our group.

England's efforts ended in lulz much faster than usual. Since when could England need a single point at home and fuck it up?

it must suck to have to count on fucking Andorra to win their match to go through...

also, the Euro 2008 pots are defined and i hope Portugal gets France, Italy and The Netherlands. if we get eliminated then we have an excuse, if we pass then we HAVE to be champions

England...for such a good group of players, fuck me, they play like a bunch of fucking retards. But on the up side, the mighty Everton won 7 fucking 1!!! thats more like it hahah!!

Easy group except for Spain and Turkey

Norway got Holland, Scotland, Macedonia, and Iceland. Should be okay if we are lucky

Portugal got Denmark, Sweden, Hungary, Albania and Malta. good group with both strong and weak teams so that Portugal can qualify but only if they play like they know they can.

other issues:
- England manager - who do you think is going to get the job? i don't think José Mourinho would take it up, although if he did he would do incredible things with the team.

- PES 2008 - i don't have it but i play it at my cousin's sometimes. it's cool, but it must be damn near unplayable if you're facing a human opponent that's really good with dribbling. i've only faced my crappy cousin so far, though.

Benfica almost beat Milan today. all in all it was a great match, great goals from Pirlo and Maxi Pereira. Sporting Lisbon put on a very strong first half against Man United; they play good football but always get screwed over in the draws (this year they got Roma and Man U, last year they got Inter Milan and Bayern Munich).

but the best bit was... PORTO GOT FUCKED IN THE ASS! a royal ass raping in Anfield Road, 4-1!
i usually support all portuguese teams, but some Porto fans are just completely fucking obnoxious. when Benfica lost 2-1 to Milan (aka the defending champs) they said it was a humiliation.. and now they lost 4-1 to Liverpool! that should make them SHUT THE FUCK UP for a good week or two, and the timing was excellent - Benfica is playing FCP this Saturday!

Great game. Porto were unlucky IMO. Quareshma was heavily contained, the brightest spark in the team. Hopefully they run riot against Besiktas.

I'm not sure. The thing is, there aren't a great deal of Scottish coaches of any decent (or at least proven) quality available just now. Basically, no one will leave an English Premiership or Championship job to take on a very risky role.

I can completely understand McLeish's position - he left on a relative high with his reputation restored after a dreadful final season at Rangers. I still think Scotland are overperforming, and McLeish's entire reign was mor eor lest riding on the crest of the wave Walter smith built up.

So the short answer, I don't know. We finally have some good players, though.
