Oh and the habs are just doing great. Go Habs Go! I believe we beat you guys, and we will beat you guys again next week.

Generally its not wise to make fun of another team when they're ahead of yours with two games in hand.

So it's still early, and I'm not making fun i am just pointing out that the Habs are not doing much better and there is still a long season ahead of us. And the Leafs will beat the Habs next week., you'll see.

Actually the habs are doing fairly good, and last time the Leafs won against them the habs basically gave them the win. I doubt it'll be like that every time.

They are only 2 games above 500, that's not very good. but I am not going to argue with both of you. Seems that when it comes to Habs fans you can't admit it when Toronto beats you fair and square, it's sad really.

What's sad is how much Toronto sucks. And how they haven't won a Stanley Cup in over forty years now.

Toronto is my #2 favorite team, mostly because Sundin is a big idol of mine. I don't really have the opportunity to see him play in the NHL, but in the Swedish national team he is always a huge leader. I really want Toronto to do well, man that town is legendary for its hockey fans, they deserve some success.

Other than that, my heart belongs to the LA Kings. I've been a fan of theirs for something like 12-13 years (back to my young hockey cards collecting days!) and every year I hope it's the year they'll make it to the Cup finals. They're rebuilding now, but there's a tremendous amount of young talent in the team, Cammalleri even leads the league in scoring at the moment! The thing they are lacking, and have been lacking for many years, is a really good goaltender and more recently, solid defensive play. They had a 5 game losing streak early on, but now they have won the last 4 out of 5 games so there's still hope. If they could make the playoff this year, I would be thrilled.

You're just as worse with your damn leafs, you can't even admit that they are having a worse start than the habs

Hey I know the Habs are doing better than the Leafs. I'll admit, I just can't stand when two people have to sit here and rub it in. You're off to a good start, don't let it get in your head that it will stay this way. Carey Price is not the big savior he's made out to be. But whatever, trying to convince Habs fans is like yelling at a deaf person. pointless.

Arguing over this is pointless, this Saturday will show who is better.

The first step is admitting it. And if by any chance the Leafs lose on Saturday, i'll remember you said that.

Umm, so yeah.. The Habs are still doing pretty good and Carey Price is doing extremely well for a rookie.

What about the Leafs ?

Yeah and I'm happy as hell cause Luongo is my hockey pool and he's had three shutouts in not even 2 weeks and 2 of them where this week!

Yeah, he is kicking ass right now, even though he started out slow. I have him in my fantasy league, and his 3 straight shutouts have vaulted me from 5th to 1st in that category.

I'm loving this season so far. The Hawks look really good so far, and some of their home games are finally being shown on local TV. They held it together while Havlat was out, and his first game back, they absolutely demolished the Lightning. If he can stay healthy (and that's a big if), they've got a shot at going deep in the playoffs.

Oh, and how much does the NHL network kick ass? Is it a standard channel now in Canada too? I'm guessing your local sports shows up there were already showing a lot of hockey highlights, so it may not be a big deal to you guys, but it is great for a US hockey fan that can't afford Center Ice, and therefore sees no virtually no hockey coverage.

NHL network is an extra you have to have a digital cable or satellite and subscribe to the channel for a certain fee.

But it's not really a problem here because we have so many channels that cover hockey with regular cable, TSN, SPORTS NET, CBC and RDS & RIS for the french speaking canadians and they cover pretty much everything concerning hockey from junior leagues to NHL.
