I've had Call of Duty 4 since it came out here. It is one of the best first person shooters to come out in a long time. It will make 360 owners say "Halo what?"

My WoW subscription died, so I'm not playing anything :(

My gfs sister works at a used game store and nabbed it up for me when they got it. Fuck is this game hard to find. 3 hours in and Im lovin it as much as I did 8 years ago. After this I wanna get the remake of this one and then Wild Arms 5.

between Half-Life 2 and CoD4, which would you pick?

i also thought about Crysis, but apparently it's a real punch in the face for most computers.

have completed Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Paper Mario, both Wii games.. and for the moment it is Metal Slug Anthology, also for the wii - old school side scrolling shoot em up game with fancy cartoonish graphics and lots of explotions.


This christmas i'll hopefully get either Super Mario Galaxy or Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.. or both.

COD 4 is simply amazing no matter which platform you get it for (360,PS3, PC) The level of realism is high, graphics are sweet and the gameplay awesome. The single player mode can be done in less than 10 hours so if you aren't much of an online player it might not be the best choice for you despite all it's other qualities.

I got bored with half-life long ago but I do like it's muliti player mods like counterstrike and day of defeat.


Crysis, don't know much except for the fact that reviews have been very good for it needs real power to take care of it's graphics.

Call of Duty 4 is amazing. The singleplayer is a bit weak for a CoD game, but it's till very solid. The multiplayer is amazing, if you have a 360 you really need to buy CoD4, it's just ridiculously addictive.

Mass Effect is the game of the year. I've play Bioshock, Halo 3 and CoD4, all contenders for game of the year. Bioshock and Halo 3 are ridiculously overrated, they got great reviews because of all the hype, there was so much money spent on advertising. Anyway, Mass Effect is one of the most immersive Roleplaying games ever, it's not an RPG, it's a Roleplaying game.

uuuummmm... why just 360 ? there's Online for PC and PS3 also and they are both free which isn't on 360 by the way. So yeah COD4 is ridiculously addictive no matter which platform you're playing it on.

True, but X-Box live is worth the money.

I must say Xbox Live was worth every penny I spent, which wasn't much ($60 CDN a year, which is like $5 CDN a month?)

I just bought one of those cards, where you type the code in and then it gives you 11 months of silver membership and 1 month of gold. X-Box Live is the way to go fo-show.

What? Isn't XBL Silver free? I'm pretty sure you get 12 months of XBL Gold.

Ok maybe that's it, and I think I also get 13 months instead of 12.

Has anyone gotten the red ring of death on their 360? My cousin had to return his 360 a few days ago because of it.

Most people get that eventually. If you keep your 360 somewhere where it gets a lot of air and generally just be careful with it, it should last you a long time. I've heard of some people having to return their 360s over 10 times, luckily the newer versions are less likely to get the RRoD.
