Ditto, especially the latter. Hope the turkeys don't burn, or whatever you fair-weather Christians eat at this time of year.

As for me, last night I had dinner with my next-door neighbors and went to mass with them. This morning, I'll be opening presents with my family and probably chilling out at home for the rest of the day.

i went to the Algarve and it was so-so. i was in good company, but it was almost empty and the few people who were there were mostly ugly old brits (as opposed to ugly young brits).

we stayed at the Sheraton Pine Cliffs hotel. it's beautiful and all that, but it's A COMPLETE FUCKING RIPOFF! 13 EUROS for a fucking margherita pizza! 4.5€ for drinks, 2€ for a cup of coffee!! 11 for a tuna sandwich!
we went there in a time-sharing trial thing, my aunt was forced to sit through a long-ass presentation while i was enjoying the swimming pool.

I had an awesome xmas. It was the first time in years I went family visiting around town too, it was awesome. Anyways, I officially proposed to my GF yesterday with a ring and the whole thing, so that scared the shit out of her (in a good way).

As for things I got, CDs: Trans-Siberian Orchestra - The Lost Christmas Eve, Helloween - Gambling With The Devil, and Gamma Ray - Majestic.

I got the limited edition Assassin's Creed with a giant tin box and an awesome little figurine and a comic and bonus disc and everything, but guess what? No fucking game disc. My mom bought it from EB and Im willing to bet that those asshole opened the thing up, put the disc in one of their little envelopes under the counter for when someone bought it and then forgot to put the disc back in.

I got a bunch of awesome clothes, I needed pants, I was wearing my work pants everywheres.

The best thing though was my mom bought me a giant CD/DVD shelf thing, its like a storage cabinet that holds about 400 cds and such and has doors and a lock and everything, awesome.

I got:

E.R season 6
P.S I love you by Cecelia Ahern
Trickster's Queen by Tamora Pierce
Heroes of Mana for DS
Mario Kart DS
Zelda: The phantom hourglass for DS
Guitar hero 3
Clothes
Huuuuge makeup kit
Chocolate
Perfumes
Socks
Money

Mom told me that if I hadn't asked for the DS games, that she had an acoustic/electric guitar put aside for me...

I'm pretty much completely bummed out. I think I might return the games. haha

Congratulations! (she did say yes, right?)
I need to get a big CD storage thing for when the giant pile gets too huge and threatens to fall off the ledge above my bed and squash me, but there's nowhere to place such a thing.

Yeah, she said yes, there was no need for me to ask really. She kept bugging (not in a bitchy way or anything) for me to do it and I just didnt feel ready too. We have been together almost 5 years now and I decided to keep throwing her off and then surprise her. The look on her face was priceless.

Yeah, once your cd collection gets big it gets tough and I have a cat now so its annoying as fuck. She knocked a pile of cds worth about 100 dollars the other day and cracked a bunch of cases. So Im so glad I have this thing..
