Yeah, I use the G3 too. High capacity never hurts. Pretty deadly on Hardcore too.

I like the UAV jammer in combination with a silencer, makes you impossible to track. Needless to say, in Hardcore mode I usually leave it off. Martyrdom is for dicks, by the way. Too easy to get kills from it.

I'm playing now, do you want to meet up on a server?

lol, true say bout Martyrdom but only noobs (fucking hell, how much of a geek do i feel after saying that lol) get killed by it. i'm playing on a ps3, don't think we connect to pc's or xboxs but if you got one, my screen name is OneTwoSeven. Anyone here who plays on a ps3 add me!

And AZ, don't buy this game when you got exams!! You'll fail them all! I can't remember being this addited to a game since FFVII!!

Hmm, I don't know if it's possible to combine platforms in multiplayer. I play on a PC, so I think my keyboard+mouse controls would give me an unfair edge over you guys.

I nearly bought a Dreamcast back in the day. The ones with the silly-looking controllers, right?

Pro Evolution soccer 2008 - it's as buggy as ever.. worst thing is... now your players will head with their shoulders most of the time with crappy results.

Metroid 3 - reminds me a bit too much of a futuristic version of Zelda (wii) game, just in first person view. Anybody of you guys who have that game and happens to be online?
Super Mario Galaxy - almost fully completed with both Mario and Lugi

Yesterday i bought an adapter so i could get my Wii online, and then i bought these games:

Super Mario 64 - wow... crappy and lifeless graphics and world design.
Breath of Fire 2 - my favourite BoF game, followed by Dragon Quater
Street Fighter II turbo
Mystical Ninja
Slaughterhause
Kirby's adventure
Super Mario 3

i didn't have a dreamcast, but one of the games i enjoyed playing with others was Power Stone, and i heard great things about Shenmue.

Astaroth - meh, i've been playing since PES3 and i've scored maybe 2 or 3 goals with headers.
the worst thing about the game is still shooting. it's possible to score light-years away from the goal but you still can't tap a ball into an open goal (9 out of 10 times it flies over! FUCKING HELL!).

I can't connect my Wii to the virtual console! I've attempted to sign the agreement, and I can play online fine, but it says "Shopping Channel is not available at this point"

Do you have Metroid 3? Then we could exhange those "Friend vouch" thingies, so i get my stickers for my aircraft! :P

anywho.. have you tried to register on nintendo's webpage? Denmark is not part of the nintendo club, so i could hook up with the shopping channel and put in some VC points money thingies right away without creating an account first. Dunno if it has anything to do with it, but I do know that if you live in England you need to register with the Pin-code that should be inside your Wii cardboard box to create an account. You'll need this account in order to buy games in Virtual Console. Or perhaps it is just a british thing - you now, a british nintendo server thing that will be fixed sooner or later. For how long have you tried hooking up to the Shopping Channel?

yeah, to head in with crosses has always been hard, but i have become rather good at timing my crosses, when my attackers pull them self together and get into the box, that is - they still like to hang around outside the box surrounded by defenders even though my wingers are way ahead of them, near the goal line, either that, or they mingle with the defenders inside the box in off side position making it impossible to pass the ball to them - and I even play with the "full attack" strategy throughout the entire match.. but when they finally do decide to get into the box on the right spot they jump around like monkeys most of the times for no appart reason, or bicycle kicks going nowhere.
there's another thing with PES2008, my players keep making stupid goals in their own net, more often than in the old games ( like 1/3 out of all goals scored on me) - there still a whole lot of issues with the players not being able to detech the goal and sideline in the game, sometimes you can pull what you want to the side, but oh no, they'll just keep running in the same direction- and the keeper is very bad at keeping the ball in his hands, he often punch it right into the feet of the opponent who gets to score an easy goal ( also 1/3 of all goals score on me)
Luckely the Messi kind of goal never fails, just run fast and then dribble (90 degree turn) to the side the goal is on when the defenders is about to catch up with you and snatch the ball, they'll keep running for another few feet and then shoot - "bAM!!! yeah!". I score most of my goals that way, or i make a normal pass to one of my attackers ( I play 3-1-2-1-3, btw).
Anywho, often my shots don't flie over - they hit the fucking post/ bar. I sometimes hit the bar 4 times in a single match, as if the bars was easier to hit than the inside of the goal. But yeah.. the tapping problem is weird also, but it also depends on your angle to the goal. In the older Pes games it was rather easy to make a low shot, but that stopped around PES6, i believe. First time I played it I got so fustrated by that.

There is a few things i like in the new game, though, the difference between fast and slow players are more distinguish now. In the old games a slow player had no trouble catching up with the fastest players in the game, at least on Top Player level. So now i score a whole lot of goals during a single match (around 3-9 pr match, top player level, and 10 min á match). It may be different on the final hidden level, which i have read should exist.
Also, the stat developement has become more realistic, instead of a whole lot of players with 95+ in all stats

I really think Konami should hire me so we could flawless games in the future :D

the sideline thing? actually i think it never happened to me again (unless i was going really fast, in which case it makes sense).

you have to play my cousin. literally the most annoying player i have EVER faced (and i've faced like.. 10 different people). 3/4 of his goals are either headers or rockets from out of nowhere, i feel like punching him in the fucking face half the time. no one else i've played scores from headers or rockets half as regularly as him.

it's the fucking tap-ins.. if i scored on half of those i'd thrash my cousin 5-2 like every other game.
you shoot, the keeper saves, and the ball bounces back to one of your other attackers... you start pressing square wildly for him to just shoot into the open net... and he fires it off into the stands.

one could argue "hey the fact you're pressing wildly means you're nervous, and in real life if you're nervous you miss your shot".
NO, FUCK YOU, YOU DON'T! it's an easy ball into an open goal, and 9 times out of 10 you won't fuck it up, but in the game it's the other way around.

even one simple tap causes him to try to spike the ball or something. it's called a tap-in for a reason, Konami!

so i guess what my cousin does is go around the game's "no score" flaws and shamelessly exploit the "score flaws", and i'm frustrated because i can't do the same.

edit - considering all my bitching here about the PES series makes one wonder why i still play it. must be a love/hate thing.
