i dunno... like Kim said, some of that stuff is bound to be fake (and i'm hoping it is). after a while, it stops being funny and becomes quite frightening.

Interesting indeed, but I found most of the author's own conclusion to sound like completely nonsensical alarmist bullshit. I just sat there waiting for him to say something like "Facebook is the NWO's new tool to control the population" but thank god that didn't happen...

Edit: And I really don't know what that philosophy stuff had to do with anything. Damn if I had the time I would pick that article apart, he sounds like one of those guys who hate Facebook (or everything else for that matter) just because it's so incredibly popular. It's just an internet community for Christ's sake, get over it...

I have personally found out that the internet enriches your social life, with IM you can pull girls you otherwise never could have. (obviously local ones you n3rds)

So Claudio Sanchez is doing a signing at my local comic store next week. If I'd snapped up tickets to the show later that night I'd have gone.

i want to join one of those hardcore bands that give the cheesy introductions to their songs. except instead of saying stuff like "this song is about all the two-faced people who act like an angel to your face but describe you as a devil to others. THEYRE the ones who should be CRUCIFIED, NOT HONEST PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND ME" our intros will be like "this song is about killing dragons. because when your gryphon has its claws in the dragon's neck, and it is struggling to burn you alive with its flaming breath THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS RAM YOUR SWORD INTO ITS HEART"
