I really liked it. Their relationships get pretty twisted. I've noticed that women tend to dislike it and how much they cheat.

Meh, Closer would have been good without the crap cast. Jude Law? Julia Roberts? Clive Owen? Natalie Portman? Yeah, right. And Hard Candy was better than 'regular', unless you have a weird viewing system...

Waiting to watch Sympathy for Mr V. Asian horror a go go!

clive owens and jude lawl pwn

miller's crossing - gabriel byrne kicks ass as the strong silent type and navigates a web of criminal plotting during the prohibition. a great criminal type movie from the coen brothers (gee, how surprising)

"if you told me where he was and i killed you and it turns out you lied i wouldn't be able to come back and kill you again"

Jude Lawl indeed. And I nearly watched Miller's Crossing last night, coincidence...

Went for Back To The Future 1 instead. Such a classic. Jim Carrey's based his entire career on Doc Brown, and Michael J Fox should be where Tom Cruise is today. Such a goddamn tragedy...

Anchorman - good but not the UNSTOPPABLE LOLFEST that i thought it would be. then again this is coming from a guy whose favourite comedy is road trip. still had some very good moments, though.

rewatched TROPA DE ELITE (ELITE SQUAD) as well, and loved it. i really really think that you guys should check it out. my friends say it's a bit like Cidade de Deus but from the cop's point of view, i won't comment on that because i am yet to see it.

Cool, it looks really good. I'll see if I can find it. Oh and you really should see Cidade de Deus, I love that film.

Tristan and Isolde-The romantic bits where too frequent for my liking but still a quality film. British pride!

Green Street-No pride here, a bunch of faggots who fight. Elijah Wood is shit. The main guy's fake cockney accent is overwhelmingly bad. Cockney rhyming slang? Nobody under the age of 30 uses that at all in London nowadays, what a piss film. On the plus side not nearly as bad as The Football Facory with Danny "The bland scally" Dyer.

I quite liked Green Street.

The Thing, this evening. Excellent film, surprisingly good effects and Kurt Russell pwns as ever.

Army of Darkness--Really fucking stupid.
Dan in Real Life--Predictable but pretty funny at times.
The Fountain--Kinda bad
O Brother, Where Art Thou?--Great. The Coen brothers are becoming my favorite movie-makers...or whatever.

Dude, Army Of Darkness is awesome.

And the Fountain is one of my favorite movies ever. The soundtrack is heavenly.

Army of Darkness was funny in its stupidity. I guess it was trying to be stupid so that makes it good :P

And The Fountain was just dumb. The only cool part was the part that took place in the past...that was really badass. But the "present" part was slow and incredibly boring at times. The worst was the part with him in the bubble which was just ridiculously bad, stupid, and weird.

Army of Darkness is one of the best movies ever made and nothing Radagast can say will change that.

I loved the way The Fountain took place in three different times. It was heartwrenching, all of it. The part when he reaches that dying star was absolutely spectacular. It's really quite a moving and wonderful movie.

i thought the Fountain was kind of like Sunshine where it was really powerful because of the visuals/sound, but I can see how people would dislike them :o

The Fountain was ok, but not pure genius. Above average, but not too far above.
