If Biron was benched the Flyers would still win. Talk about missing a ton of open net oppurtunities.. jesus.
There have been a lot of post hits, true, but don't deny that out of the 30-40 shots montreal is shooting every night, there aren't at least 8-10 that are really really nice and that takes phenomenal goaltending to stop.
Oh god yeah, if not for Biron we would be up 3-1 or may have won it all by now. I was mostly just getting at the fact that the shot accuracy has been pretty bad. Moments where the players would come through in the season (which is why they were number 1 in the east) they just aren't completing.. Missing open nets, no one around for awesome rebounds, missing breakaways (we had like 2 or 3 breakaways in one game and no goals on either).
It's hard to watch because Montreal is totally outplaying them in every department except goaltending, alot of the goals on Price have been weird easy goals. I want to say fluky without sounding like an annoying fanboy, but some of the Flyers goals have been weird and impossible (or nearly) to stop.
If Montreal goes out this round though I am still proud of this years team. Predicted by most to not even make the playoffs and they finish 1st place in the east with the most goals in the league.. I was impressed. Maybe they can take what they learned this year and go further into the playoffs next year.. Assuming of course they don't win 3 games in a row... Which they will
