if you're interested you can read a review here (scanned from a magazine):

I'm getting the 360 version because...well...achivements dude..i admit it, i'm a total achivement whore  but also for the exclusive DLC that the 360 version is getting :dio:

me too... i've started all over with some of my games in order to get the achivements onto a xbox-live account... I'm also looking forward to the DLC for the 360 version.. i've read that each content should add 10 hours to the game.. nice

I wasn't looking forward to the game a few months ago... but after reading interviews and reviews telling how dense the game world is, i am now. The amount of detail should be incredible - not graphic wise, of course. According to some interviews i've read there should be around 500 advertisement with various stupid brands, filled with the normal GTA humour. :P

I'm about 23 hours into Suikoden 5 and it is really a return to the first 2 classic games in the series.

Also started Super Mario Sunshine today. My gf bought a gamecube for 30 bucks the other day and so far we have collected: Super Monkey Ball, Super Smash Bros: Melee, Zelda: The Wind Waker, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and Mario Sunshine.

Not a big fan of games like Monkey Ball and Smash Brothers, I find the funness level lasts for like 20 minutes when I play em and then I need to move on. Paper Mario and Mario Sunshine are amazing so far though, despite Mario Sunshine's horrendous camera that has actually given me a headache just now. And I have yet to play the Zelda game, though I did play a demo version of it back when it came out and I remember not being very impressed, but I think I will give it a chance anyhow, cant really tell the total quality of a game from a demo.

Mario Sunshine is fun but ultimately very annoying and dissapointing. I always beat all Mario games 100% but this one I just finished the main story (which is about 50%) and quit there. Smash Bros Melee single player isn't all that great (basically, just use it to get all characters and stages) but its drunken multiplayer can't be beat. As for Wind Waker... I'm not too sure if its the best zelda game to start with. Its a good game, but by far the weakest of the 3D Zeldas- the sailing will get very annoying after a few hours, its way too easy, and has pretty bad dungeon design (plus a horrid fetch quest at the end). Even if you don't like it, give Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask or Twilight Princess a try.

SSBM can get a bit confusing sometimes, making me wish they had some more simpler looking stages (i only play in the zelda castle and great fox "side view" ones), because stages like the pokemon battle arena one are just fucking unplayable.

Zelda: WW is pretty cool. the look of the game alone made me fall in love with it, it really is amazing. the fetch quest is awful, as brahm pointed out, but you can get around the sailing after you get a certain song. dungeons were generally cool, but the only other one i've tried is Ocarina.

Star Wars Republican Commando. Has anyone noticed that you and your squad are identical to the Ninja Turtles?

Dear Metal Reviews,

Please do not try and play Mission Impossible on an N64 emulator, as it will lock your computer up and cause you much Grief.

Love, Zad.

Why would you want to play the game at all? I remember, I did have it for the N64 as a gift, and for some godforsaken reason I even finished it. Horrible game, though.

Heh, that's the reaction I'm getting from pretty much everyone I mention it to. I'll stick to Smash Bros and stuff.

Incidentally, stuck on Goldeneye on the train when you have to shoot off all the locks on the trapdoor. Can do it, but that stupid bitch Natalya always hangs about and gets blown to bits.

Natalya does some pretty stupid things, but she always left the train when i played it.

i never finished Goldeneye without cheats (using the action replay), even on agent, but i remember i KICKED ASS on multiplayer. i always picked Boris and shouted "IYAM INVEENCIBLE" after my numerous victories :dio:

It's pretty cool that I got that far just with a keyboard. Skills, I have.

Perfect Dark > Goldeneye, by far. I beat that game all the way through on Perfect Agent and unlocked all the cheats. Twice. I <3 Perfect Dark. I still play it.

HA. I got Mario Kart Wii, lets just say if you have a Wii this is a must get. If you do not have a Wii this will not convert you. All in all good fun, and the online is actually pretty good.

And tonight a store (FutureShop) is doing a 12 am opening for GTA 4, since I work until 11 I will be going and getting it. And if I can pull myself away from it, I will post about how damn good it is. On and off line. :dio:

Mario Kart Wii is indeed the shit. I'm usually not a fan of racing games, and didn't like the last Mario Kart too much, but this one has excellent track design and a great online play system- better than Smash Bros.' online by far. Plus the motorcycles are awesome. Definitely reccomended, and DW, we need to play this and Smash bros. online.

Effin eh!

And I fixed my router problems, so getting my Wii online is now very easy.

i'd love to get my hands on GTA but i don't dare with the exams coming up. a guy from my hall said he could get it and have a "designated GTA time", but as i pointed out, that would be like having a "designated heroin time".

I actually liked Mission: Impossible for the N64. It was pretty ambitious and original for its time. Some of its missions were also quite cool, especially the Embassy one. Of course, today stealth-based games are a dime a dozen thanks to Konami and Red Storm, but when MI came out, Rainbow Six and Metal Gear Solid were still a few months down the road. So Mission: Impossible stood out considerably from the rest of the crowd.

I think people's problems with the game stemmed more from the circumstances of its release than its actual quality. It was in development for three years, it was often compared to The Great Goldeneye since both games had similar plots and settings, and Metal Gear Solid was released that same year, stealing a lot of MI's thunder.
