Aside from Ottawa and hopefully hopefully hopefully not the Habs, most series are going the way I want them to- Detroit, Rangers, Dallas and Colorado are moving on... Habs have to win tonight, though, and I'd like Calgary and Philly to also advance.

Wooooooooooooooooooooooo :dio:

I knew Montreal could do it. Have they even lost 3 straight all year? I dont think they did, I could be wrong though. 5-0 however I didn't expect, Price was huge in this game, especially the first period.

I loved the little insult to injury goal with 7 seconds left in the game. Anyways, now depending on the Flyers we will either play them or the Rangers. I think we would have an easier time with the Flyers, we beat em 4 out of 4 times this year, but a Rangers series would be very exciting and I would like to see Montreal put em out, since I dont like them.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING WOOOOOOOOOO

Beautiful game. Beautiful play by Price, Andrei Kostitsyn, Sergei even though he got two penalties... Hell, the entire team. Fucking awesome in every way.

Kudos to Boston, who lasted a lot longer than anyone predicted and to Tim Thomas especially, who played fantastic.

And now lets hope for a Flyers/Flames win tommorow...

What the fuck was up with the rioting in Montreal after the game? Montreal barely got past the Bruins in round 1 and people are fuckin shit up like they won the playoffs. These people are fuckin retarded. Even if they did win the playoffs this would still be retarded.

I completely agree, but I don't think the hockey can be completely blamed. Us Montreal fans love our hockey, and I think its great if crowds of people want to get together on St. Catherine after winning a series to celebrate, even if it is a bit much after a first round series. But then some idiots take it as an opportunity to break windows and protest against police brutality by... burning police cars and it degenerates into a complete fucking mob. I knew there was going to be a riot whether we won or lost last night, and it is really sad that there has to be. Goddamn idiots.

Oh yeah, a big celebration is alright. I think it would even be a blast to be a part of it. Ive been to St. Catherine before, stayed at the Days Inn on I think St. Denis? or somewheres around there. But like you said, how it degenerated into that was just fucked. I can see why people who don't like Montreal really hate the fans, lol, not everyone is like that though and I know its not like the team or league condones it, its just some dumb fans gettin drunk and goin overboard givin the other half of the fans a bad name.

Apparently the rioters weren't really there to celebrate. They used the celebrations as a way to insert themselves into the crowd, using them as decoy, to attack policemen cars and equipment. It's always like that, a group of anarchist uses the fact that there's a crowd to do their deeds then the real fans who really only wanted to celebrate ends up looking bad.

They completely demolished the Avs last night. Though Theodore played pretty shit again (hopefully they won't start him next game) and perhaps the return of Forsberg will start up the Avs offence.

And damn, the Habs deserved to win that last night. What was it, 39 shots to 23? And some damn nice shots in there. Kudos to Biron, who played fantastic.

Well well well

the Habs lose again, and go down 3 games to 1. But I wont lie I wathced that game in its entirety and got a little happy everytime the Habs scored.

And goddamn Halak has some serious teeth issues.

Ahh, this is so fucking frustrating. Every game the Habs have lost they have outplayed the Flyers so incredibly much.

If Biron was benched the Flyers would still win. Talk about missing a ton of open net oppurtunities.. jesus.

There have been a lot of post hits, true, but don't deny that out of the 30-40 shots montreal is shooting every night, there aren't at least 8-10 that are really really nice and that takes phenomenal goaltending to stop.

Oh god yeah, if not for Biron we would be up 3-1 or may have won it all by now. I was mostly just getting at the fact that the shot accuracy has been pretty bad. Moments where the players would come through in the season (which is why they were number 1 in the east) they just aren't completing.. Missing open nets, no one around for awesome rebounds, missing breakaways (we had like 2 or 3 breakaways in one game and no goals on either).

It's hard to watch because Montreal is totally outplaying them in every department except goaltending, alot of the goals on Price have been weird easy goals. I want to say fluky without sounding like an annoying fanboy, but some of the Flyers goals have been weird and impossible (or nearly) to stop.

If Montreal goes out this round though I am still proud of this years team. Predicted by most to not even make the playoffs and they finish 1st place in the east with the most goals in the league.. I was impressed. Maybe they can take what they learned this year and go further into the playoffs next year.. Assuming of course they don't win 3 games in a row... Which they will :dio:
