I'm also tempted to buy the Rainbow Six Gold Edition. Only thing is, I'm worried about whether it will work on my NVIDIA Quadro 560 card (seeing as to how it's an almost decade old game).

So, i got GTA IV 360 yesterday, and i got to play it about for about 15 min. before i got the dreaded RROD. FUCK!!
Called M$, said that they would come pick up my xbox within tuesday. Can't say that i am happy about this.

No way! I think I would die if that happened to me. Anyway, I got the game today, and holy crap it's amazing. Driving first person behind the wheel of the car while blasting through pedestrians and watching blood splatter all over the windshield is eerily entertaining.

Jesus Christ that sucks. Why can't Microsoft make a system that doesn't break? My friend got his 360 about two weeks ago, and now he's on his third one, due to the RROD.

Whenever i get my new xbox from Microsoft, i will also be on my third system *sigh* Everybody on my friends list is playing GTA IV except me

Got GTA IV for PS3. About 5 hours into the game and lovin it and just finished 3 deathmatches online (won 2 of them ) and this is the first time I actually feel compelled to play a game online.

Seems there is a trend going on here.

I got GTA monday night, and it is awesome. But I can not get online. Everytime I get into a lobby just before the game starts I get sent to a private free roam. So I stopped trying for now, and I am just worrying about the offline portions. And wow, is it amazing. Unfortunately for me my stupid X-Box froze. Second time in 2 days. If I get the RROD again I will be telling Microsoft that to take it away for good because I wll be getting a PS3.

It could be the game and not your xbox. There has been widespread reports of both the ps3 and 360 version randomly crashing. And if you do get a RROD, no reason to tell them to keep it when they just give you a new one. I think the RROD problem is mostly connected to the 230 V versions and not the 175 V versions of the xbox. A way to tell if you got the 175 V version is to check if it has a HDMI input.

Unlike everyone else I'm not playing GTA4, I'm grinding through Monster Hunter Freedom 2 on the PSP .

If that is true than I do not feel so bad. But my X-Box makes a loud clicking noise just before it freezes. And now it says the disc is unreadable, I am going tomorrow to go get a new copy of the game and I will see if the problem goes away. I hope it does, because I didnt get my GTA fix last night....

Sam And Max S1E2: Situation Comedy. A great continuation of S1E1. Especially with Bosco's faux British persona.

Holy Crap! did you say Sam and Max. What an awesome game. I didn't know they made more besides Sam and Max: Hits the Road. I just finished playing Grim Fandango. NO one makes a good adventure game like Lucas Arts. As far as GTA4 goes PS3 is the way to go. 1. There is no RROD. It sux I saw my friend go through 2 of them. 2. The game totally runs better on the PS3. There's a reason they have that mandatory install. Great game. Sucks for Wii owners

i'm worried about GTA 4's pc specs, though. my computer has 2.4ghz, 2015MB RAM and a geforce 8600.

I thought GTA 4 wasn't coming out for PC?

Of course it is, they just want to make as much money as possible, so they release it for the PS3 and 360 first. If you have a PS3 you have to buy the game to play it. If you have a 360 you can burn the game but you won't be able to play online or download new content. When the PC version is released you'll be able to do everything with it without paying.

Man I just had this amazingly weird feeling of deja-vu. Did you write a similar post like a few months ago ? ...or maybe it's just my idea!
