Confession:

I'm the girl Zad was talking to about this. Because this summer I'm getting a monroe. (piercing off center on your upper lip). I was asking Zad's opinion, and he's obviously highly against it. I've wanted a monroe for five years, and still do. So it's gonna happen!

for those that don't know what it is

... just do it :D .. i like that piercing

anywho... I would like a big pagan tattoo on my back spreading to the arms... By pagan tattoo I mean a tattoo with the old viking/pagan artform with intertwining dragon heads, snakes or what ever it is and then some old runes perhaps and thors hammer. I'm just afraid it will be too expensive and ugly. I dont want it to be some sort of new fashioned tribal bullcrap.
So far i haven't seen a really cool motive i would like to have.

You should find a few images you like, head over to a tattoo shop and make a conference appointment. Usually to have a tattoo drawn out for you, is free. And so if you don't like what they make up for you, don't get it. Tell them what you want, tell them what you don't want. Good tattoos are not cheap... And cheap tattoos are not good.

piercings and tattoos are fine, as long as you don't look like you

A) fell into a tackle box while wearing magnetic face paint, or
B) passed out for three days and let Jackson Pollack use you as a canvas.

yep, but so far i haven't found any real col motives, yet. The tattoo shop closets to my home doesn't look to be able to pull something that i want off either - from what i can gather from their webpage.

anywho... .... My cute little sister just got herself a thors hammer tattoo on her right ancle :P (actually she got it for only 15$ in Venezuela
- " uh! I'm so proud of you!"
- " yeah, I knew you would like it"

... my little sister is more viking that me

When I can afford it, I'm going to get my upper back and sleeves tattooed to the wrists. I like tattoos but piercings scare me. My boyfriend wanted a labret - ick! I'm a lip person, and he's got very nice, full lips. I was so alarmed

Uuuuh, please don't get the tats, they're extremely masculine and unnatractive on girls.

If ink is masculine, why don't more men have tramp stamps?

I've always thought the small of the back was a really aesthetically pleasing placement for a tattoo. It's terribly unfortunate it's gotten the connotations it has.

Well that's a tattoo that's acceptable on a woman tbh, but upper back and full length arm sleeves are not.

So it's "acceptable" for a woman to advertise her supposed loose sexual practices, but not to venture into some imagined forbidden "masculine" territory?

Come on, you're mature enough to know what I mean, they look absolutely shit on women and are ahrshly masculine. If a woman wants to look stupid and masculine then that's her problem, she's fucking butch.

Metalhead_Bastard, you are a waste of oxygen. I don't particularly aim to be 'feminine'. I like men who can handle a strong woman and aren't scared off when a woman has some balls (in the proverbial sense, of course). I like secure men. I like to be able to do whatever I want with full support and sympathy, as my partner's equal and a free entity. I feel so very lucky to be in the relationship I'm in because of his understanding and support.

I've seen some beautiful sleeve tattoos on women before. What I want is based on my fiction and my songs. I've never posted anything of mine on Metal Reviews so you wouldn't know what I have in mind. It will be very beautiful, if not even somewhat feminine. Google for Japanese tattoos and white ink tattoos. Go to a fabric shop and ask to see some lace and gossamer.

All that matters is that you please yourself. I know the tattoos I want will be pleasing to me - I've wanted them for a couple of years now. It will take a long time before I can actually get them.
