Well, thinks start to go ok for spanish team... Now, Holland is classified, and will play with all the bench against Romania, so there're a lot of chances of France and Italy been kick off.
And Spain is better than Romania, and worse that Holland... but being semifinalist is far better than being quarter-finalist, as we always are.

Let's see tomorrow against Sweden. I won't see the match (my son has a school festival at same hour) but I'm pretty sure we'll win, because our midfield is incredible (Xavi is the fucking boss), and Villa & Torres are playing very well together.

Awesome display by Holland.. But I fear they'll dropp a couple of notches in the quarterfinals.. It happens in every championship with teams that get good starts.

bloody hell shit, Holland is fucking dominating!!! i admit that i never saw this coming. my 3 biggest mistakes were high expectations on Italy and Greece and low expectations for The Netherlands.

And just because Italy didn't win it doesn't mean we played bad. Against Romania we played well. (Romania is a solid team) And the Netherlands obviously have their lucky 2 games, sure they fucking destroyed, but i don't see how they could keep this pace. They base too much on a physical kind of game, much like Germany, but still they do something interesting once in a while. Oh and the first goal they scored was offside, i don't care what some bullshit bald ref says.
We will probably get kicked out, but it's ok, we still are the WORLD champions..

Oh and the penalty kick. WTF. WTF. I have never cursed to god so much like yesterday, it was insane, all the old women looking at me with angry faces... haha

After the England team humilitated themselves I switched to Holland and so I am delighted at how the tournament's going so far. An unusual experience for an English person. (I have had a soft spot for the Dutch team ever since World Cup 1994, for some reason, plus I am 1/8th Dutch)

Apart from them, I always like to see the underdogs doing well at the expense of the big boys so I'm also cheering Romania on. (So this leaves me a little bit torn about who to support in the Holland-Romania game... probably would like to see an entertaining score draw, with Italy and France also drawing )

We did beat Holland in the qualifiers and left them qualify from the second spot. But I'm skeptical about another win. I think they will play very relaxed and probably beat us with their bench team, in one or two flashy moments. And I also think Italy will beat France and qualify, then eliminate Netherlands in the semis. And probably win the championships. I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I think so far. Anyway, I could bet my right arm Netherlands won't win the tournament. Some boring ugly team will stop them eventually.

Sorry Dago but so far this tournament the Netherlands have been along way from boring. But yeah, like Old School I have a sneaking suspicion Italy might beat France, and then knock out the Dutch in the semis.

Yeah I don't see why this is being contested so much? He onstructed the guy's movement by pulling him back...a clear foul, and about time referee started standing up to this kind of thing.

In domestic news, Rangers just signed Kenny Miller - a guy who has failed at both Rangers and Celtic in the past. The mind boggles...

just saw Spain x Sweden. Spain attacked more but didn't create many chances, although credit must be given to the Swedish defense. Fernando Torres is really good but it looked like he was trying to do a lot of stuff by himself, probably trying to prove his worth after Villa's devastating performance against Russia. thing is, Torres has nothing to prove!

the Euro is being quite unpredictable so far, though, so i don't rule out Italy or even the disappointing France for the final victory. if they kick into gear they could very well take the title home, although for i want Portugal, Spain or the Netherlands to finally win. sexy football ftw
