what are your goals or what will be taking up the majority of your attention this summer?

right now my plans are:
-job
-stay not-single
-learnding musics (more specifically, learn a scale a week and all the basslines on Frances the Mute on electric/stand-up bass and piano, by ear as much as possible)
-choose fall classes (more of a to-do list than a goal)

Not so much plans for summer as planning what to do after the summer.

I will be working in a plastic bottle factory half way into August and then continue the studies where I will also move in with two mates. First time I move out of the house, excited.

Also looking to spend some cash on a computer and monitor, although I'm not sure how well the economy will withstand the release of iPhone. I was impressed and in love before, but seeing all the new stuff it can do it's kind of impossible not to get one. I mean, it's not a phone, it's not a PDA, it's a freggin Macbook in disguise!

And probably not getting a tan as usual. Though I try, my skin is but too Viking for the suns weak attempts at coloring me.

Raise my guitar skills a couple of notches... taking a course with Ihsahn..
Earn money for my New York trip this summer.

Neither of these will happen because I won't do B until I do A and I won't do A because I'm a dick.

i should probably do A too but i'm lazy and don't hate my job enough to go through the whole job search thing

1 - Move in my condo
2 - paint the condo
3 - renovate condo flooring
4 - Go to Quebec City's summer festival.

That's about it as i'll have no money to throw around for anything else! lol

That would be cool.

-I plan on working 40 hours a week.
-Pay off some of my credit card debt, which arose due to school and car maintenance.
-Taking one summer class before I transfer colleges and doing an independent study with one of my professors.
-Move back into my mom's house after living with my girlfriend for the past two years.

1- not get fat during summer (which has happened every time so far due to beer and eating shitty food)

4- Upgrade my pc (it's happening)
5- ...
6- PROFIT!

Also, I am going to Ireland this summer. Fuck yea! I am gonna drink a lot of Guinness and whiskey!

-Move into my new flat with the minimum of bother.
-Make sure I can fit my exercise bike into it, and start using it.
-Start planning out my thesis.
-Possibly go to Bloodstock Open Air but that seems doubtful due to expenses and time (plus not having recruited any friends to go with me as yet)

I have no goals anymore! Turns out the girl I was pursuing I didn't have anything in common with outside of school. Ah well, them's da breaks.
