Saw the Bourne Ultimatum, the third one yet the first I'd ever seen. It was pretty lame- there was barely a plot (and the twist was lifted straight from X-Men 2- actually, the plot amounts to about one scene from X-2), and while some of the action/chase sequences were cool and Matt Damon decent, shakey cam disease ruins all. Seriously, why the fuck does anyone think shakey cam is a good idea, and why are directors now using it even in conversation scenes?

So ya, I have no clue why these movies are so popular. Maybe I need to see the first two or something, but I probably won't.

I thought the third one sucked. The first one is damn awesome though. The second is a decline from that and the third one from that. Seriously, watch the first one. It is good.

I love you so I'll watch the first one so we have something to talk about on our next date.

And glad to hear people agree with me about the camerawork. I don't usually pay too much attention to camera shots, but damn, Bourne Ultimatum's was horrible.

If by "talk" you mean "arm wrestle" and by "date" you mean "beer drinking contest with lots of boobies all over the place..."

...who am I kidding.

Yes. There will only be manly events at this date. Manly and heterosexual events. No anal sex, no sirree bob!

The Happening is really bad. Do avoid.

Spoilersthe plants are doing it. lame high school biology teacher figures out while the army can't. the director treats the old lady at the end is dangerous when all she is going to do is kill herself. bad dialogue akin to Juno but not as bad.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

Gay

Count me in. I love the series and I'll be looking forward to the movie.
That said, I'm 100% heterosexual, obviously. Although I do like Mean Girls too, and that is far worse.

We got to the movie theater, but decided against seeing The Happening, went to her house and watched Seven Samurai. Awesome.

I liked it. Good music plus kinda unpredictable ending.

I love that movie. I'm going to have to buy it.

Saw Star Wars Episode Three again last night- it really gets worse each time you see it.

Yeah, I've seen this just recently as well. I looooved it. Except that I really can't see Alan Rickman as nothing else than Professor Snape and Timothy Spall as nothing else than Peter Pettigrew, Harry Potter ruined me. :P

while i don't want to be "that guy" i recommend you try to catch sweeney todd in the theater. at least when i saw it in Lisbon the music was really fast, which in my opinion only made it better.

I Am Legend

Too many god damn special effects. It really detracted from the movie. The zombies could've been actual people. I mean, really.

But overall, it could've been a lot worse. For a major movie, it wasn't bad at all.

Kung Fu Hustle!

A great film and a very good satire on all the 70's martial arts movies.

Before Sunset - 8,5/10

Brilliant follow-up to Before Sunrise, but imo not quite as good as the original. I missed the interactions with other people that was quite funny in Before Sunrise. Hopefully this will become a trilogy as it ends very open-ended.

Recommended for all romantics!
