I love that movie. The final scene where Tim Curry reveals everything is awesome in every way.

Twas good and fun the first time, the second time was just funny, the third time made me wonder "What's coming on next?"

Still a good movie.

Kevin Spacey is flawless as the killer and pretty much steals the show from Pitt and Freeman.

I really hope that wasn't the twist, because I was looking forward to seeing that movie.

No, it wasn't :P

Tracey Fragments - pretty neat, the multiple frame stuff was kinda cool and i liked how it all came together towards the end. the teen-girl ranting was a little overdone. 6/10

I'm taking my little guy to go see Journey to the Center of the Earth this morning and I'm going to catch Hellboy II tonight.

Hancock--Not as good as I thought it would be (not sure if I posted this here)

Rocket Science--Ridiculously bad movie about a kid with a stutter who joins the debate team

Kung Fu Panda--Eh. I thought it would be better after all the reviews it's gotten.

Kung Fu Panda - pretty cool. think i mentioned this here before.

Hancock - absolutely atrocious. admittedly i was stoned out of my mind when i saw it, but my friends were sober and they all hated it as well.

No Such Thing 8/10. Great beauty and the beast retelling with critical look on the media.

Roger Dodger 7/10. Interesting look on modern male courting rituals in nightclubs.

Harry Potter & Order of Phoenix 5/10. Really good for not at all liking the books or previous movies.

I dun get it. I didn't like it very much myself, but i find it difficult to see how you could hate it. It had a lot of potential, a lot of the story was just way underdeveloped. whatev.

I know this is the movie thread...but has anybody heard of Frisky Dingo? I watched a lot of it last night while I was pretty stoned. From what I remember, I really liked it. But I do remember a lot of parts that made me go WTF, and that was after smoking and drinking. I ask this, because I would like to know if this is out on DVD or is there a website that I can finish off the second season? Anything?

Yeah it's a great movie with so many levels of interpretation. And it's quite unique too, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.

Hancock - what a waste of a great idea and opening 20 minutes.

Kung Fu Panda - :)

Journey to the Centre of the Earth 3D - stupid film, brilliant cinema experience

I agree that the story-telling wasn't the best but the 3D was incredible. The flying fish scared the crap out of my 8 year old. I watched some behind the scenes on the film. They filmed the entire thing digitally, James Cameron was involved, and this other guy (who know I wish I could remember his name) who is a special effects genius was on board. Visually it was a spectacle. The illuminated birds were a cool idea.

I will point out that the film did have some redeeming qualities for those children who may not know much about geology or Jules Vern. It may cause them to look up a few terms and perhaps read some classic literature.

THE DARK KNIGHT opens in 4 days now. As soon as it is released, all other summer movies will become irrelevant, and it is all of our duty to see it at least 17 times.

Wanted: okay story, GREAT action. Pretty solid.

My brother saw Hancock today and was trying to tell me it was really good...he couldn't seem to understand what I was talking about when I said the explanation for their powers was stupid, the villain sucked, etc.

Last thing I saw was Tarantino's Deathproof, which sucked much ass. Before that Wanted, which fucking owned, average story, but fuck does it have balls and style. Just like the awesome Shoot 'Em Up.
