Sure, if it'll get you to shut up about the fact that I review Lamb of God.

And there WILL be another LoG review next week, everyone.

I definently like this album. The sheer amount of precision in the guitars is amazing, and the deep, meaningful are amazing. I love the intro on 11th hour and for your malice. The singers voice suits the mood of the music perfectly and the drumming is very "tight". I just dont know if there considered Metalcore or Death metal. please help me! \m/-.-\m/

I call 'em Metalcore. They do have some influences from Death Metal, but they're definately Metalcore.

Metalcore or not they sure know how to write some killer riffs. This is a great album and in my opinion better than the latests.

It's not a bad album, but I find it suffers from the metalcore curse, ie not enough difference between the tracks so apart from the odd great one (Ruin, for example) there's little to tell them apart.

This band bores me. So generic.

You think they sound generic? Wow. I think they are quite original. I can't think of any band that sounds like them (yes, they have a familiar sound with the groovy metalcore vibe, that I would agree with).

Generic is basically interchangeable with "I hate them because they are new and semi-popular".

If you look at it that way, it will start to make way more sense.

Dude, your posts are good. You are very right most of the times, but I'm too closeminded to admit it :D

Eh. I'm not like that. I like a lot of metalcore such as Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Unearth, etc. I even like some really popular bands like System of a Down.

I just dislike Lamb of God.

Is Ashes as technical as this album? Just wondering.

Moreso, in my opinion. Lots of nutty technical math-metal riffing.

New American Gospel is the best LOG album. I have As the Palaces Burn and Ashes Of The Wake, and they all deliver different matterial. Just because this band is getting attention dosnt mean you dont have to like them. You can check out 1 song from each of the albums and see how they have changed. http://www.purevolume.com/lambofgod Terror and Hubris in the House of Frank Pollard is from New American Gospel, Boot Scrapper is from As The Palaces Burn and The Faded Line is from Ashes of The Wake

after listening to the Dillinger Escape Plan...i dont hear any math metal in ashes of the wake. the only song that could come close on the cd is Ashes of The Wake, but its not math metal, just crazy guitar solos, good drumming, and a soilders voice.
