Trailer Park Boys: The Movie

Hysterical, although it's like a very long episode of the show, it's still great.

In other news: The Dark Knight is still at 9.7 with 46,915 votes.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan

Terribly uneven, but ultimately kind of funny.

6/10

So Batman set the opening weekend record beating Spiderman 3 with $155 million.

Just watched Igby Goes Down.

you know, about the will ferrell funny/not funny thing. apparently the above video is hilarious just because it's improvised. i think it sucks because it's not funny - i'd rather have some hilarious scripted conversation than some improv that is only considered funny because it's improv in the first place.

what do you guys think?

I think you need a sense of humor.

I thought it was pretty funny, but I do agree about scripted vs unscripted.

Evan - So bands repeating the same album again and again is good? Wait, forgot you like Thrash... :P Seriously, I thought the first film I saw with Ferrell (Anchorman or whatever) was ok, but he simply repeats the same shtick! How is it funny? HOW? You and NESS should hunt down a little film called Idiocracy...

Cara - I watched PS I Love You a while back and fell asleep. If he hadn't died I'd have been praying for him and his stupid accent to get glassed repeatedly within ten minutes. And Hilary Swank is becoming one of the most annoying actresses ever. She should have stuck to the gender bender stuff rather than this Jennifer Garner-wannabe bollocks.

The Godfathers are awesome, 1 & 2 anyways.

Jeff - Buckets of shit. That is all.

Yesterday: Sympathy For Mr Vengeance, great, and rewatched X Men with my little brother. Damn, it has not aged well, and damn, without Ian McKellan it would be as boring as shit. Watching the second one with him later.

Idiocracy is hysterical, exactly my type of humour, although it fails in the final act.

When it comes to Will Ferrell I like most of his films, and I love his cameos, like the one in Wedding Crashers.

Old School - Hilarious
Elf - Great. I am a bit biased though, because I love Zooey Deschanel
Anchorman - His best one
Talladega Nights - Shit
Blades of Glory - Solid
Semi-Pro - Kind of shit
Step Brother - I think I'll love this one

I actually liked Talladega Nights for John C Reilly, who is far funnier than Ferrel. Is Walk Hard any good, anyone?

And did you get the point behind Idiocracy?

I really liked the Wedding Crashers, probably the last thing that Owen Wilson was funny in (Drillshit Taylor anyone?)

Finally, a film which actually deserves all that cash, unlike the Spiderman movies which all sucked, especially with that nerd wanker Toby Maguire.

The hype for The Dark Knight has caused me to get in touch with my inner child and get excited for a film for the first time ever.

Haha I don't think I will ever live again such an agony, excitement, anticipation and restlessness like when LOTR "The Two Towers" was coming out... I could not sleep at nights and I almost camped outside the theatre.... and damn when I finally saw it, it was worth it!!

I couldn't agree more with that list.

Ohhh, I love Gerard, he's lovely. Although I enjoyed the movie, the book is 300% better. They changed the movie version SOOOO much. They left out about 75% of the novel. But I agree with the Hilary Swank comment.

Idiocracy was not funny at all. I watched it with a friend, and man was it dumb. I like stupid humor, but that was not funny.

Oh and I saw The Dark Knight twice so far and am oging later on this week to see it for a 3rd time.

I also watched:
Shoot 'Em Up
The Heartbreak Kid
The Break Up
