wtf stolen passwords

i'm fucking fucked. both my Hotmail/MSN and University of Nottingham passwords don't work any more. i don't know what to do.

with the Uni i'll call them and explain (because i can still access the student and business school portals), but with hotmail i don't know what to do. i either can't remember my answer to the safety question or apparently gave them a different post code/country (don't know which of the 3 i'm getting wrong). they can send password reset instructions to... MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT! and how the fuck am i supposed to access that?!?!

anyway i have like 15 job applications connected to those two e-mail addresses and ideas would be very much appreciated. thanks.

Isn't there a way to get your MSN password back using the secret question option? Or did they remove that?

Though it could have been changed as well I guess.

that's the thing, i created that account in 2003 or something, i can't remember my answer. it's some form of my favourite sports club, i've tried some 3 or 4 different answers and it won't accept any of them (then it froze up saying that i can only try again later). and thing is maybe i even got that right, and got the post code wrong (i may have filled in something random there when i created the account).

fuck this, why the fuck would someone take over my account? this is fucking ridiculous.

edit - the uni e-mail was disabled because i've left the school, not taken over. hotmail is fucked though.

i e-mailed the hotmail support thing saying that i can't access it and all that, but do you think they'll help me out? i mean, for all they know i'm the one trying to take over that account!

i said that if necessary i can prove it's my account as i know most of the contacts, recent e-mails, last passwords and all that by heart, but i don't know whether the administrators have access to that kind of stuff themselves (i doubt they do) to check whether i'm just making everything up.

I had a situation (albeit about... 10 years ago) where someone took over my account- I e-mailed the hotmail staff and they helped me take it back. So hope is there!
