what makes Superbad and 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up so awesome is that they're hilarious but still have good characters that i can actually care about and stuff

Watched www.watchusdie.com. Rubbish horror film, but as good excuse as any to look at hot chicks. Shame there wasn't more gore though.

So, I finally saw Se7en. It was good, but I thought overrated. The acting was excellent (especially from Brad Pitt and he who plays the killer but whose name I won't mention), and the concept very interesting, but I thought the movie only kicked into gear in the last half hour (due essentially to the killer) and was pretty disappointed by the twist ending that had been built up by just about everybody. I was also slightly annoyed that I was able to guess many of the plot twists, which I'm usually horrible at.

I thought it was very good all the way through, the murder scene investigations in the first half of the film were really great. I also think Brad Pitt did an amazing job.

Watched the first half of Seven Samurai and I don't understand why everyone goes apeshit over this movie. Although it's quite good for the time period it came out of, it's really just mediocre. It has a good story (so far) but is marred by horrible cinematography, pacing, etc., essentially just poorly made, which is understandable considering it's so old, but still.

Hmm... Its possible its just not a movie for me, then, as I generally don't like investigation/mystery movies.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I expected this film to suck, but it turned out to be amazingly funny. Unlike most other comedies nowadays where you almost expect to hear a laugh-track everytime someone says something supposedly funny, this film was genuinely funny without it ever feeling forced. A lot of it is due to the perfect cast, and the great direction getting the most out of every actor, even Kristen Bell, who I think is a poor actress, was really good in this one. The film almost imploded on itself at the end, but was saved by a solid script. 8/10.

Also, Mila Kunis is FINE.
