The Dark Knight

Went to Manchester to watch it in the IMAX and it was an experiece, fantastic film. The guy sat next to me was hilarious, every jumpy moment he nearly shit his pants and in one silent tense moment i hear him say "Oh my lord...noooo..." and I look at him and he' watching the film through his hands.

lol some guy a few seats away from me would every so often at tense times go "ooooooh fuuuuuuuck."

Recently Watched: Frank Zappa -- Baby Snakes.

Those claymation things were wild.

Oh yeah, and I think Uwe Boll was also responsible for the shit fest that is Bloodrayne, as well as other turds.

Yeah he's responsible for lots of shit movies
- Bloodrayne 1 & 2 and a third one in works which will probably suck more than the first and second combined.
- Alone in The Dark and a second also in the works.... can you believe that ? urgh!
- In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale
- Farcry (upcoming...)

It's incredible how fast he gets this shit out.... it's almost like a perfect flow of diareha.

LOL it's true, though I was interested for a while to check out NotK cause it has Jason Statham in it, so it might be a decent action flick. But omfg, more BLoodrayne and Alone in the Dark?? Unfuckingbelievable.

Another thing about Uwe Boll is he's always capable of getting some well known actors in his movies, Ben Kingsley for Bloodrayne for exemple which is a frickin waste of talent. Don't get fooled by Jason Statham's presence .... a turd is a turd no matter how good an actor can be.

I know, but sometimes if an actor is good enough, he can pull the movie out of the proverbial cesspit, though it's normally just wishful thinking.

I remember seeing Before Sunset ( which is the sequel) and nothing really happened during the damn thing. It tried to fit in some feeling of nostalgia and "what could have been" sentiments to the characters but really has not point whatsoever. The movie had no plot and constant dialogue about anything and It really didn't matter in the end. it was plain boring.

as for Before Sunrise, it's been A while so I don't recall exactly what I hated about it but there's no way I'm going through this torture again especially after the torturous "Before Sunset" which is still fresh in my mind.

The Shawshank Redemption: Pretty good even though it contains all cliché elements that prison movies needs to have: inmates who wants to fuck you in the ass and corrupted police men.

Curse of the Golden Flower: Most expensive chinese movie for some reason... I liked the first half of the movie, then it just turns stupid, especielly the last fighting scene is so fucking stupid, lame, and it is poorly executed in terms of CGI quality.

Took two of my younger nephews to the movies, try to be the cool older nephew and shit. We saw Kung Fu Panda, which wasn't all that bad, Jack Black did very well!

True but most of those Cliches originated from that movie.

The Pick of Destiny

Fantastic, it's hilarious and has awesome songs.

Only annoying thing is that Stan is played by Dave Grohl "I'm the devil, I love metaaaal!" and then after that bit theres a song on the credits which rips into grunge for trying to kill metal. Hmmm....

Tropic Thunder a few days back... Kind of disappointing, but still a pretty funny movie, and Downey is the man.

They were decent actors but there wasn't anything that made me like the characters. I wanted to like the movie but there was just nothing that really amazed me. I wanted a lot more; I wanted it to be on par with Dan in Real Life and it was nowhere near that.

Edit: Saw The Bank Job. It's like The Italian Job but British, ie: better.
