Ballad of Jack and Rose - more proof that the only logical thing to do when a parent dies is to burn your house down. 7/10

Street Kings

it's like they watched the first season of The Shield and put it into a movie. Which means it was awesome. 8/10

Yeah, that was pretty good. A lot of crying though.

Manderlay - good sequel to Dogville with the same style of social commentary. it didn't have the powerful 2nd half that Dogville had, and now that i think about it more the twist at the end of the movie was kinda janky. all three of the Von Trier movie's i've seen so far have left me thinking about them for hours afterwards though, even with The Boss of it All which i didn't really like that much, and that can't be a bad thing.

Death Sentence - 5/10 First half was decent. Second half was better. Kevin Bacon was tolerable. The last shootout scene was an exact ripoff of Taxi Driver's.

Traitor--good but not great. I wanted to see Tropic Thunder but they wouldn't let my brother in (I'm old enough to see R movies) so I went and saw that with him.

It was tremendously cliche and I missed the first fifteen minutes but anyways Kevin Bacon blew some guy's kneecap to smithereens with a shotgun. It balances out.

Funny Games 4/10. It was kind of boring and ultimately pretentious. It didn't create much suspense or terror just some wincing.

Hollow Man 2 - Shit, especially when compared to the first one.

Rambo IV - Really good, way better than I expected.

didn't like Team America at all, save for the awesome AMERICA! FUCK YEAH! song and the brilliant "dick pussy asshole" speech.

Hallam Foe - one of these weird ones that Jamie Bell's made since Billy Elliott. Not that great, but Sophia Myles is in it, so good times and that.
