Well, for something so unoriginal, it sure has a fairly high score.

What a surprising comment from you.

I have albums from Evile, Warbringer, Dekapitator and Merciless Death. Do I really need to listen to this album?

Yes you do.

This is a fine new thrash album. And the score fits perfectly. I like these guys better than Warbringer and Evile. They are just a group of guys playing fast fun thrash, and they do it well. Also check out Bonded By Blood. I hope they get a review here soon...hint hint zad...

I have chosen to ignore all posts by TheOctavarius.

EDIT - isnt it mario and not tetris? like the noise it makes when you get coins in mario.

Better than Evile? I'll be checking it out then.

Well I like Evile, I just don't think they are the be all end all of the new thrash bands like some other people like to think.

Ok band i guess, agreed with the Octavarious about the score 70/100 maybe, and thats the problem with most of the retro thrash scene unoriginality, and i know that the "retro" implies that, but seriously do we need all of those new bands? i think not, one or two i can take but c'mon people this is getting old, there are some really good bands of course like Toxic Holocaust and Municipal Waste, two bands that are actually doing it right and i would recomend to everyone are Mass Extinction from Ireland and Deceiver from Sweeden, the first has only released a couple of EPs but they sound very promising, and Deceiver just fucking kick ass their first EP and album are amazing thrashing old school heavy metal at its best, too bad Destormo is no longer in the band his style fits the band perfectly, they've just released a new album and from what i hear on their myspace its gonna be a winner.

Wow this is pretty cool from what I heard on myspace.

I don't know exactly how many retro thrash bands there are but they surely have filled the gap for me left by Slayer, Sepultura, Exodus, Megadeth, Anthrax and Metallica not playing pure classic thrash.

THE SHREDDER!! is the coolest nostalgia moment of the album.

I completely agree with the review. Yeah, it's unoriginal, but it's not supposed to be original. When I first listened to the album I already expected well-done, generic thrash, and I wasn't disappointed.

Not to mention I pretty much automatically like a band that sings about Ninja Turtles.

Also I'd say it's both better and more unique-sounding than Evile. Who are sweet too.

And the album cover is sick.

@Devoted Walnut - I heard that too, but the Tetris reference comes a little later in the same song. The solo includes part of the melody from the Tetris song from the Gameboy version.

Based upon the samples over on their MySpace I would say this is good 'ole fashion 80's thrash. The songs I heard sounded like a nice combination of Anthrax and Metallica. The bass tone was definitely closer to Anthrax's bass tone that I heard for years in the late 80's.

I do like this one- blah blah its unoriginal, sure, but its well done, has some excellent riffs and some good soloing. Zad is right to say that this is a fun band; I kind of wish that they had some longer songs. 75/100

i like this album, especially the song Evil Voices. clean production really works for me, one thing is to bring back musical style from the 80's, another is to bring back the sound quality. call it too polished, to me it sounds just fine.

along with Municipal Waste, this is some damn good modern no-bullshit headbanging thrash :rox:

How could this get a 80 and Death Magnetic a 73?
I really cannot understand!
