I like how I knew 5% of what they said. I'll be building on this knowledge of French this year.

Real first name: Martin

Age: 30

Location: Canada

Job/school?: Network administrator

Favourite bands of the moment: Metallica, Negura Bunget, Rotting Christ, Satan, Primordial, Agalloch, Exodus and Sodom

Current favourites albums: Sodom - Agent Orange, Kreator - Pleasure to kill, Satan - Court in act

How did you discover metal?: in 1991, with The black album.

Non-musical interests: My family, Movies, reading, occultism, cryptozoology, beer

How you discovered Metal Reviews: with a review of Anthrax - we've come for you all. I've been a silent member of the forum for almost 4 years, posting from time to time.

Gen. info: Proud father of 3, proud metalhead too. I'm not 100% of the time in metal music but I never disavowed my origins. I'm a french speaking guy with very bad english skills. So, I might sound retarded sometimes but it's not the case.

Hé hé... Alors je ne suis pas le seul à batailler furieusement pour ne pas passer pour l'imbécile de service... Bon à savoir !

Salutations bretonnes ami d'outre-Atlantique !

Yup, I think it will be better this way  Anyway, it's an english forum. WE will keep our french conversation in private

The jokes on you both, I'm from Quebec and can understand everything you're writing!

(They called you all poo poo heads. True story).

Favourite five bands of the moment: Dark Quarterer, Witchfinder General, Edguy, Sodom, Overkill
Current favourite album: Edguy - Mandrake
Non-musical interests: Videogames, playing guitar, reading, movies.
How you discovered Metal: I was 8 years old and went with my dad to the record store, he said i could pick a tape and so i did, it was Holy diver and i pick it because i thought the cover art looked cool, Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, Metallica and Def Leppard were next and the rest as they say is history.
How did you discover Metal Reviews?: I cant remember, im pretty sure that i googled it but i cant be sure, i found the site long before the forums when this was a Power Metal heaven, i think i even made a post or two.
Gen. info: The only Mexican in the forum, Metal has been a part of my life for as long as i can remember, i've also been into Jazz, alt rock, blues, classical and prog, and while i still enjoy them from time to time Metal is the only music genre that has been constant with me.

How you discovered Metal Reviews: I really started getting into Metal around '03, so by that time, I googled "metal reviews." I think I found this site around the time Death Cult Armageddon was reviewed.

lol

The biggest thing for me was getting past the guy's vocals. Once that happened I was like "oh fuck." Since Thursday, I must've listened to the album, like, 5 times.

I remember having the MK soundtrack but I only really liked the KMFDM and the Type O tracks back then.
