Good, but With Oden on Our Side was a bit better.
Amon Amarth has a very strong discography!

I also like With Oden but with the new album they just stepped it up a notch, especially the catchiness, its insane!

Agreed.....They havent released a single "average" album yet. Which is quite uncommon for a band that plays Viking/folkish metal.

I so badly want it to be the synthesis of Blaze in the Northern Sky + My War.

I'm expecting a solid album with maybe a couple of fillers. F.O.A.D was a big step up from The Cult Is Alive, let's see if they can keep it going. I've mentioned this before, but Nocturno Culto claims there'll be no punk influence on this one.

Also, it appears they've adopted a mascot.

I like the skeleton guy. With a song title of "Hiking Metal Punx" it's hard to believe it won't have any punk in it. I found this with Fenriz talking about the aforementioned song:
Quote:
My song is called "Hiking Metal Punx"; it has one Motorhead style riff, one NWOBHM / speed metal riff and also a punk / Iron Maiden style riff.

I hope the new Edguy is 100 times better than Rocket Ride I wish they would go back to the Vain Glory Opera or Theater Of Salvation days.

It is great. The vocals are even more hardcore. I really like it!
Plus the cover is the shit, I am buying the shirt and the cd from relapse immediately.

They said it would be a lot heavier, and the album title itself is promising :P "Tinnitus Sanctus".

Don't remember if it was previously posted but Bloodbath leaked. It's not as straightforward as previous Bloodbath; it could be more of an Opeth influence fused in. Earthrot is a lot better song than Iesous, which I thought was a little to meh to be the first song released.

BEHEMOTH will release a new EP, "Ezkaton", in North America on November 11 through Metal Blade Records and on November 20th in Europe through Regain Rec.. The EP will feature seven tracks, one brand new song titled "Qadosh", a live recording as well as a new studio version of "Chant For Ezkaton 2000 e.v.". Also included are live versions of "From The Pagan Vastlands" and "Decade Ov Therion" plus covers of THE RAMONES' "I'm Not Jesus" and the MASTERS HAMMER track "Jama Pekel". Metal Blade will also release a limited edition box set EP that will include four picture disc seven inches, a BEHEMOTH pendant and the CD all packaged in a deluxe box.

"Ezkaton" track listing:

01. Chant for Ezkaton 2000 e.v.
02. Qadosh
03. Jama Pekel
04. I'm Not Jesus
05. From the Pagan Vastlands (live)
06. Decade Ov Therion (live)
07. Chant for Ezkaton 2000 e.v.
(live)
A new EP by Behemoth. The Slave Shall Serve EP was awesome so I expect this to be. I'm excited about the recording of Chant. Behemoth's covers and live tracks are always good so I'm looking forward to this.
