Reservoir Dogs

First time watching it, I wasn't actually expecting it to be like it was (should've though, i mean, it IS Tarantino), and I wasn't actually in the mood for a film so dialogue heavy and whatnot when I watched it, so it would be unfair to judge it at the moment.

I did enjoy it though.

Recently I just watched Bangkok Dangerous, it was damn good and the ending was different than you might expect. Also I watched Predator the other day, it's actually a better action film than I remembered and the unbelievably gay banter at the beginning was hilarious.
How can the ending be different than you expect if it is a remake? Not to mention every review or description that movie has deemed it lame even for Nicolas Cage standards.

Oh and how could you not remember how awesome Predator is? When Weathers grabs Arnolds arm at the beginning or at the end when Arnold is being all covert and mud-covered, every second of that movie is awesome.

Obviously I didn't see the original, and until recently I didn't know it was a remake. Though I don't get why Cage gets so much shit over his acting, like in Lord of War. IMO, Cage is a good actor in most of the stuff he does, except for the National Treasure films, which were way too stupid.

Also, I forgot Predator because the last time I had watched it was around 10 years ago, but the thing is most Arnie films are watching him disposing of a fuckload of goons while participating in a lot of gay/dumb dialogue, which is fun to watch but not really all that memorable (like that film were he was a cop and he killed an army of gangsters in a bar). In Predator he actually gets his ass handed to him until the end, which is rare in Arnie/80s action films.

For every Weatherman that Cage stars in, he also stars in the Wickerman or Ghost Rider.

To be honest I have good memories of NT1, but that could be either because I was younger or the fact that it was good, I can't remember. But NT2 and Mummy III are neck and neck for me for being the worst fucking films this year. In NT2 the dialogue is horrific and you can actually figure out what everyone is going to say to each other before they 'deliver' their lines. Not to mention the attempts at saying something "funny."

National Treasure 2 > Mummy III

Mummy III was by far the worst.

Before Sunset - very good movie, on par with Before Sunrise.

Oldboy - I'm an idiot that I haven't watched this before. One of the best movies ever. God the story couldn't be any sicker.

I think I gave up on the film when the yetis came. Also the fact that they used TNT to open the tomb door was hilarious.

Really? I thought it had some very intense scenes, but overall was really shit, I even watched it twice. Couldn't enjoy it though. Then again, I'm no fan of Lynch.

I just love mind-fucking movies, so that movie was pretty much perfect for me.

I love topless lesbian make-out scenes.

And Oldboy is great.
