Oh, don't worry, I'm sure they'll both fail equally

Just like the Habs will this year when they try to win the cup.

Oh did I just say that?

After the horrible third period @ penguins, I expect improvement agains the Islanders. I mean, this has to be our easiest game on the road.

Leafs first winning streak of the season!

It's sad that I get excited after winning 2 games in a row. But winning 2 in a row is better than losing 5 in a row.

I hope Steven Stamkos never forgets this night. His first NHL point against the team he grew up watching. Glad the Leafs could be a part of his legacy.

Amazing comeback for the Habs... My friends and I went from depressed to super happy in ten minutes. I love turn arounds like that. And the Kovalev/Plekanec/Kostitsyn line was completely awesome, as it should be, and Higgins got his first goal of the season! Yay!

And credit given where credit is due- Toronto's comeback was also fantastic, especially since they scored like 5 goals in 5 minutes and did it against the Rangers. Daaaamn.

Yeah, it was good to see the two most popular teams pulling big comebacks. John Mitchell (who has been awesome this season) got his first goal, and then minutes later his second goal of the career/season. He was so close to getting a hat-trick to, but Dominate Moore got his 3rd of the season instead. The Leafs are playing very well so far, it's all because of hard work and good coaching. As soon as Toskala starts playing really well I think we will be a very hard team to beat.

Oh and Luke Schenn eats babies for breakfast.

Yeah it was a pretty awesome third period, I never thought the Islanders could give us that much trouble though, the habs better not think it's going to be easy this year, I hope this is going to make them realize.

Islanders has been better than expected... We struggled against them too.. But hey, we havebeen playing some pretty shitty games recently. Excluding the Leafs game.

If there's one major problem the Habs have had in the past while, its that they tend to underestimate bad teams and play badly against them- in the past few years, the Habs have constantly lost games against teams like Florida, the Penguins and the Flyers (back in the years when those teams were the worst in the NHL). Hopefully, as you say, they learn from their mistakes.

Not that I wasn't surprised by the Islanders taking the lead the other night, but better than expected? They're last place in the league right now... The only really good players they have are Wreight and Streit. They're a pretty awful team.

That Canes/Leafs game was BS. Blew a 3-1 lead to lose 6-4. Carlo Coliacovo didn't play good and will probably be stuck sitting in the press box eating popcorn for another week or so.

I say the Leafs beat Carolina on Tuesday. Vesa Toskala steals the show.
