No way. I played NHL 09 with the line-ups for tonight and the Leafs win 3-0. Toskala gets the 16 save shutout. Nik Hagman gets 2 goals and Alex Steen crushes the Canes hope for a come back mid-way through the 3rd with a beautiful passing play goal. Anyway, Leafs win. Real game starts in less than an hour.

Well, seems like NHL 09 was wrong after all, even though it was a tight game.

Its just tricky... By 3-0 for the Leafs, it clearly meant 2-0 for Carolina within 5 minutes :wink:

You gave up that lead because the Leafs are the come-back kids. That's the 7th game this season where we have comeback to tie a game or get within a goal. Too bad we couldn't pull it off in OT.

And how can I ever trust NHL 09 again?

Anyway, Leafs and Bruins tonight at 7.
Last time we played the Bruins we were down 2-0 to come back and win it 4-2. We have earned our nick name the come back kids.

understandable... you totally out-played us in the second period and the first half of the third. We did a good PK that gave us energy.

Capitals tonight.. Should get them.

Friggin Leafs dropping below .500 how dare they.

But it was us who started Montreal on their downfall, and Ottawa is sucking pretty bad right now. So i'll take the Leafs losing if the Habs and Sens are losing to.

Sorry, I believe me personally is the sole reason for the decline of Montreal. I traded for two Montreal players in my fantasy hockey league and that's the kiss of death ;)
