I don't think it's the asshole-ism that attracts the girls. It's the self confidence. When you behave like an asshole you automatically give the vibe that you think you're superior to the rest of those petty humans and that makes people think you've got an ego the size of my fucking ass therefore girls get attracted to you because confidence=sexyness

What's ironic, though, is that most assholes are actually very insecure about themselves. And they use their assholism to boost their own self-confidence. So a lot of that "self-confidence" they give off is phoney.

Women operate this way because of the mind-sets conceived for them. If it weren't for all the petty teachings (femininity in general), then the world might be a place devoid of melancholy, isolation, and suicide.

In other words, women have no soul.

Speaking as a female, I'd have to say that this is unfortunately true...

Girls tend to like guys that aren't particularly sweet 24-7. We like a challenge - we like to feel as though we are the one who could possibly "change him", and make him nice. Winning him over easily is never fun. A little bit of sweetness is always appreciated but, never over-the-top.

"The Nice Guy" curse... Yeah, I got that.

Seems to me that girls go for a guy's "aura", rather than his actual looks a lot of the time... You can be amazingly handsome, but if you exude timidity then many won't find you attractive. And vice versa... you can be pretty average looking, and if you give the impression of being strong and confident and powerful then many girls will find that attractive.

I don't see why having a "nice guy" aura is a problem, SO LONG AS it is coupled with a strong, confident side to it. So, if you are nice in a "I'll do anything you like and be kind to you but run away if you get into trouble and will be incapable of moving your furniture around" kind of way, you are fucked. But if you are nice in a "gentle but powerful figure who will look after you and envelope you in his strong loving arms" kind of way, then that's pretty good.

I always used to be the former but now I go to the gym in an attempt to upgrade to the latter.

agreed with rio, timid = bad. although i don't think you even need to be confident and powerful, just like relaxed and honest. actually confident and powerful would attract more girls. so yeah, that.

I'm the nice guy but I don't seem to lose from the 'cocky guy'.

From my own experience:

nice+funny+cocky when you need(other guys being dicks)=boom baby!

That's the formula right there. Plus, looking badass on stage doesn't hurt either
