I watched My Name is Bruce yesterday. It was awesome.

It's basically everything you expect it to be. People getting killed for no reason and Bruce Campbell getting drunk with his dog, doesn't get better than that.
Can I ask how you watched it? Download or on DVD or what because I can't find it.

Ok cool. They keep changing the date for the DVD release so just wondering. One of my friends went to a private screening with Bruce. I now hate him.

Watched Raging Bull on Tuesday in my film class. All I can say is Scorcese knows how to make a good movie, goddamn.

Cool I just saw that at the film festival here a couple of weeks ago. Bruce wasn't there though.

Pretty funny film, although seriously what the fuck was Ted (?) Raimi doing playing that "Chinese" guy?

I can tell you what he wasn't doing... bringing the lulz

Haha yeah, I had no idea it was Tom Cruise until about 2 weeks after I saw the movie, when I read it on the internet.

Yeah, seriously. I had even read about the film beforehand and I knew that Tom Cruise had an odd roll in it, but I totally forgot about it and did not realise it was him.

Kind of a shitty film though, Robert Downey Jr was the only good thing about it.

Steve Coogan and Nick Nolte were great too (the way Nick Nolte said his characters lines it made me think "man i'd love to read a book about war by this dude"). if Ben Stiller and Jack Black had been as good as those three it would've been an awesome movie. definitely wouldnt call it shitty

Two words: Taxi Driver. Departed isn't half bad either.

His movies are very "special" and different. Found "The Departed" to be BORING. Maybe I don't get the "mafia" plot, but I just think, especially Nicholson to be overacting. :D

It's a remake of a Japanese film but it is really just a standard mafia movie taken to the extreme which other movies don't reach. I've seen movies similar to it but this movie was just so extreme with everyone getting whacked I was impressed. Nicholson was kind of a parody of himself but it was still solid acting.

WHACK! OW! WHACK! OW!

I do hope you've read the book, though. Ten times as tense.

saw Quantum of Solace last night. pretty good at the start, a nice plot forming, but after dominic greene is uncovered by Bond the whole thing just goes to shit story-wise.

of course, lots of gunfire and explosions and Olga Kurylenko looks absolutely gorgeous.

I've been thinking of seeing that one for a while, but so far I've been reluctant because I hate Swedish films, they're terrible.
