Nothing is better than betaing the Caps at home ice.. Nice to have Staal back on the score-board. Leighton did a good job for once, and our AHL-players did a nice job. Brindy seems to be back on track, whitney was amazing, and even though he wasn't very visible, Ruutu did a lot of dirty work.

Jeremy fuckin Williams!!!

Played in 3 games since being called up from the AHL. Has recorded 7 shots on goal and has scored 3 goals. I love this guy. Every team needs a guy who all he does is shoot and score. If he played all the games this season, he'd be on pace for an 82 goal season.

Agreed, that's why Ovechkin is so good. He is constantly taking shots, and with his skill, he's bound to put home a good percentage of them.

Patrick Sharp is like that for the Hawks. Every time he gets in position to take a good clean shot, I feel like its a sure thing, and it usually is.

The great thing about Williams is he scores in every game he ever gets called up to play in. In 2006 I believe was his first call up, scored a goal. Called up twice in 2007 and scored on both occasions. Called up this season, and not only scores on his first game, but his first 3 games. Not to mention he scored in the shootout against Jersey last night. Just imagine what he could of done on the top line with Sundin last year or 2 years ago.

haha that's pretty much all Kyle Wellwood does for the Canucks. he's even only usually on during power plays, and he's tied for most goals on the team

Mats Sundin finally made his decision. Posted about 9 minutes ago on tsn.ca "After six long months, the Mats Sundin saga is finally over as the unrestricted free agent has agreed to a contract with the Vancouver Canucks."

Sundin in Vancouver, interesting...

Hmmm... He was actually at the Canes - Rangers game.. The NY announcers said something about him being interested in a move there.

I'm guessing he couldn't get the salary he wanted with NY.

For the last week everybody has been saying the he was going to the Rangers. But I guess that was just a smoke screen, plus the Rangers needed to make a few moves to be able to afford Sundin as they were right at the cap limit. But lets just be happy it is over. I for one will never boo Mats, I know some Leaf fans will but not me.

Anyway, Leafs vs. Bruins is starting and my pizza just arrived. Peace out niggas.

Anyone who boos Mats is a fool. Wild game tonight against the Bruins and Williams' streak ended.

Yeah it was pretty cool that we were losing 5-1 and made it back to be down 6-5. Too bad Fernandez was the only goalie who came to play tonight, and he wasn't even suppose to. Nice save on Blake nonetheless.

Yeah that sucks about Williams, I like him and I hope he doesn't get sent down. But with Hagman getting better, somebody has to go. Also Mike Van Ryn seems to be hurt again, Wilson said it was another concussion. Milan Lucic doesn't like him too much.

I say give Justin Pogge a chance, he can't do much worse than Toskala or CuJo right now.

Ugh.. Sucks to have my favorite player on a team I don't care for. I'm conflicted.

If Sundin is your favourite, is Alfredsson your least favourite?

The rivalry doesn't affect me really, I'm not a big enough fan of Toronto. I like Alfie but I love Sundin. He's been the heart of Swedish hockey for years, I'm glad he didn't retire. I'm still not comfortable enough to cheer for Vancouver though, sorry Mats :P
