Australia. Pretty good and bad at the same time. Many sweet and thoughtful messages but they were rather forced upon the viewer most of the time. It felt fake, not sincere and honest like they seemed to hope for.
The little kind was annoying with the whitest teeth in the whole land and were always in the way of things.
Still, it was epic, huge and long which I like. A bit draggy sometimes but in the end it felt well worth watching.
Read a pissed off article in the Guardian complaining about historical distortions.
Funny how Zeth seems to be one of only a couple of people who watched that. Seriously, Hugh Jackman as a rough shepherd? Come off it. The guy is good at being smug, and at being Wolverine, and that's it.
Hugh won me over in The Fountain and The Prestige. He was nothing special in Australia but I still have great respect for him. Nicole Kidman feels like old news though. She acted on merit and offered little to the character.
Saw The Fog from 1980 yesterday night. I gotta say, I'm beginning to feel a bit dissapointed with Carpenter. It was a rather crappy movie.
EDIT: Started seeing Pineapple Express but turned it off after 20 min. It felt like it was going nowhere, the dialogue was stupid and the characters boring. I usually watch longer on movies I start to dislike, but this was just a big meh. Is it worth watching through? Any big twists or something?

I stopped just after the asian guy get shoot, which was like the most obvious thing in the world.
