As for the college football season, Purdue sucked balls, and the Big Ten got shat on in bowl season...again. Pretty much a shitty season all around if you ask me.

I might end up going to college at Purdue next year... in fact it looks pretty likely (I was actually at their embarrassing loss to Penn State where the kicker missed like 3 field goals and 2 extra points or something ridiculous like that). I'll have to get used to the idea of not having a good football team.

Do you live near West Lafayette?

Heh, small world. I graduated from Purdue in '04, and now I live in Indianapolis, but I commute to and from Lafayette everyday for work. What are you going to major in?

Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Statistics is what I'm set on, but knowing me I'll probably change my mind while I'm there.

That's a pretty long commute by the way.

Yeah I meant Carolina.. Nice to hear that they're doing better than the hockey team at least

I've got a jersey with Smith on. Is he still playing? Heard he was injured alot.

Yeah, he's awesome, easily one of the top 5 WR's in the NFL. He got suspended for the first two games of the regular season after he punched one of his teammates in the face in preseason.

Sounds similar to me. I started out majoring in Civil Engineering, then switched to Building Construction Management after two years.

Yeah, its a long commute (70 min), but its only temporary as long as this hospital project is going on, and my company gave me a gas card and vehicle depreciation allowance. Its still alot of driving to do every day though.

I'm sure it gives you a lot of time to listen to music though. I almost wish I had to drive 30 minutes to school each day just so I'd get a chance to hear more stuff.

You'd think so, but I generally end up being on the phone for work related matters nearly the entire time, especially on the drive home.
